Why is New Jersey warming faster than other states?

Temperatures in parts of the Tri-State Area have been in the 90s the past four days, but it has felt like triple digits. CBS New York's Lonnie Quinn and Nick Caloway have more on the weather and the extreme heat.

Maybe it's because there's a lot more cement roads and parking lots?

Tragically, It doesn’t matter if NYC was fully Staffed or Had Surplus Highly Trained Lifeguards Because People will still go into the Water when they are Off-Duty.

New jersey is the most densely populated state so of course we have more people more concrete more energy being used and CO2 accumulating. Of course we would heat more quickly than other places.
