Surawardhi was the CM of Bengal presidency as a whole before partition and not East Bengal alone . Either your knowledge is very weak Sir or you have read the wrong stuff throughout your life. Surawardhi the then CM of Bengal was also responsible for the riots which led to the death of many people (hindus, muslims and parsis alike).
