@@Killergamer-22322 Apologies if i sounded rude before, but there really isn't a good reason to hate them other than being stuborn to not want to at least try manual. And even then, their driving is pretty much predictable and you can tell quite quick if someone uses TD (Only stays in the middle of the road, never go too low or too high on a ramp, don't try to drive next to stationary cars for the "near miss" nitro boost, drifting with cars that handle poorly... basic TDriver stuff)

☑️ Yep. About 2 months ago I asked about this car in an Asphalt 9 video, and the video's producer recommended it. I was only at garage level, 12, so I hadn't yet unlocked it's cards into my premium card packs or legend store, so I'd only gotten like 6 total blueprints for it by that time(after literally 6 months of playing the game)! So I was nowhere near unlocking it But after the guy recommended it, I saw a Corvette GS card pack for sale in the store, and I had saved up 2500 tokens at that time, so I decided to roll the dice. Long story short, after spending roughly 2450 tokens, I went from having only 6 Corvette GS BP's, to owning a 3-star Corvette GS, which I promptly spent most of my credits upgrading. It immediately became my best car by far, way better than my 5 star La Ferrari and my 4 star Centenario. Then I bought a few more packs before they removed them from the store, and upgraded it to 4 stars. Now I'm in desperate need for good A and S class cars for multiplayer and for events, and I'm guessing my new A class Aventador SV may fit the bill after it's upgraded past level 1. Anyway, lastly, my Corvette GS is at 4 stars and roughly 3545 ranking, and my Centenario is about the same rank(3590ish), But I can routinely finish events at least 4-5 secs faster with the Corvette GS than with the Centenario! It's even more of a blowout when compared with my 5 star, 3205 rank La Ferrari.

This car wouldn't be that spammed if it's competition cars were easier to get.

Low rank before GS like f12dtf, SCG, 488gtb, asterion still can beat GS, but some trouble while facing twisty tracks like carrebean, aukland, rome, & osaka. That cars will dead cause to many cornering that you will force to drifting and loses many speed. But if facing long tracks & not many much cornering like nevada (great track ever), cairo, scotland, himalaya, shanghai. Yes it can beat the GS the races. (I've been tested, but still lose if compete with huracan & apex) Thats why im hated GS, like "hey dude, really u dont have another cars to play? U cant improve your driving skill on every tracks cause that car is very spoilet you".

@@sidikgendut8613 and there is the problem: we aren't getting any speed track. All the new tracks are more focused on cornering than in speed (kinda except nevada), which benefits the Corvette

Yeah this car was spammed But this car is the step for newbies if they need better cars

You underestimate the importance of handling stat. Especially with increased number of twisty tracks. (cars with handling stat below 50 will suck there, except S class cars)

idk, as a former newbie i used to play a lot in this car and i can understand why newbies use it a lot. even as a manual driver i used to get better times in events and better results in mp with this car than with more top speed oriented cars, simply because the corvette is waaaaay easier to drive.

maybe because it's hard to get faster B and A class cars for us beginners so we rely on it until we can get 4k class B or A cars. Funny enough I have pretty decent S class but to make it there I lack class A cars, so for now I will use this car and I respect it since I can beat any other cars in the same range or above and even other GS.

The one main purpose of this car was to serve as a good beginners mp car. And it does that very well. But sadly, these beginners relying on the GS are never respected in the A9 community and are teased with the stereotype we call as _' td nab'_ . And we know that more than half of the A9 community are beginners who started during lockdown and also due to veterans leaving/taking break from the game; this is another reason why this car is spammed a lot. Don't understand why people 'disrespect' the car and people who use GS. If you are skilled or have better cars just use them right away, just ignore the GS.

Trying to practice some easy speed tricks, floaties and punches, perfect nitroing on rough sections etc, as I will be switching to manual soon, so I don't need to spam corvette and evo that often and use some other cars. I am trying to get used to manual because I am on Ipad and it feels more difficult for me to control.

I don't even remember how I got this car. Maybe it was a gift from Gameloft. It's the best B-class car I have after the Apollo N. Weird to say I even play with this car in platinum league and legend league.

Because it's free, easy to get and reliable in mp? This car took me legend league at 4*. You may think otherwise, and GL seems to be making constant effort for them to stop playing, but there's actually beginners that didn't dump 500$ to get a good car from the get go. Geez...

The thing is, you don't have to spend money to get better cars. Cars like the f12, Apex, Apollo n have cars hunts, and many more cars bps can be gotten through the legend store. Plus many gs drivers aren't the best drivers so having harder to drive cars can help many to become better drivers

@@devi6521 I've been playing for around 6 months. Just missed the Apex hunt. I wish I had an Apex. Way better car. Luckily I got the hunt of the Vantage (but it's just a buffed GS anyway), and even then I had to bust my ass to get it from 0 to 5 stars. Don't expect everyone to do the same. F12? Mine is still 3*. Apollo? Got mine from 3 to 5 stars in the last hunt (a month ago). But are you sure wanna use it against golden Hurracans, Apertas, Vandas and BCs? Even my club mate who is a way better manual player than I am doesn't do this. I haven't seen one in legend league. Not everyone has a top tier device to play this game and want to invest the time required to be a pro. Some need to reach legend league as fast as possible and farm multilayer points to have some kind of progression. Please stop with your hubris.

@@mousumimishra4741 2BPs away from 4🌟 Gt12 vantage and I dont even know how many left to unlock Vanda, so I am not gonna stress about it. Asphalt9 is fun cos you can play it for a year and still have a lot of milestones to reach. Been playing for 5-6months now and it never gets boring. Next milestone is top 3000.

@TECHKEY MA No, these cars have low top speed, extreme handling and extreme nitro.

I saw a decrease of corvettes when I was spamming the corvette but instead there was a increase of Huracans in classic MP but my corvette with 3/8 epics gives a great fight against them and I sometimes spam it in Platinum League.

I stopped using this car ever since I got my Enzo to 4 ☆. I got better at using F12tdf, unbelievable as TDer but it works. But back when I used the GS I had no better option, and now I dread it as much as Apex, Huracan, and GT3 RS etc. Cant wait till master controls are added (asphalt board surveys), as the current manual control options on my phone just dont feel right. Tilt has brake as a toggle instead of a button along with tilt sensor messing up sometimes, and standard has too many buttons for how little actions you can do, heck I might get carpal tunnel from it. Like I just want this: [brake] [nitro].

PS to those saying the cars after it are easy to get yall are absolutely wrong. I had to grind credits for a year for all of those cars and they are still at just 2☆ or 3☆ with no upgrades

If every car would have same handling as the GS then balance would exist in this game

I do like the Lambo Chevy but I don’t spam it in Worldseries on the Switch platform. I use my highest rank car and work my way down. Sometimes I use this car in some career events. Good luck in golding the Batista and in DS4. ;)

this car is just so reliable for classic seasons, i love it. But yeah, the blocked, 360 staffs are just bad. But come on, you can easily beat a GS. And its a choice for every begeinner as it is easy to get. Don't bully GS that way

Yeah, GS and Huracan Evo are spammers, but 488 Challenge Evo is a special spammer (if you drive well with this car)

At starting I use this car to go legend and I reached very nice car for starters and continue players

It's spammed because it's fun to drive.

This car got me to legend 😅 maybe it is not great but it can protect from kd drives and huracans drivers

It is similar with the asterion, but gs has excellent handling and drifting

From only have 5 S class cars and 4 being the very first 4 and then pinaferinna. I'll take the corvette. It's gotten me to legend league every rime know since I upgraded it fully but not maxed it. Yes on straits and short tracks it's hard to do good. But give me a twisty track I can even contened with high S class cars. This car is really good.

This freakin' car can give a tough competition to Egoista, laferrari, 918 and slr

The only reason I use this car is because of the weekly opportunity to get blueprints for this car from the B-Class events. So, until they add better cars to the packs for the B-Class events, I will probably use this car forever. That’s why I spam the car.

I can actually beat these corvettes easily with my beloved H2 Speed, since most are TD users, and even when some use manual they can't maintain speed very well due to the slow accel. For some reason they use corvettes on platinum league too. And since I actually can beat them pretty easily, I could get up to LL with just the H2 😆 my garage poor 😢

Still to this day, at 2024, The Chevy Corvette GS is still existing and appear in almost every MP battle form Gold to Platinum League, And it appears even in Legend league. Why ? Easy. Because this car is too easy to get and maxed, you can maxed it even without the Car Hunt event. Many people tells that cars like Vanda, Huayra BC, Huracan, etc... are easier to get, but for a beginner like me, just have played A9 for just almost 1 year, I don't have any of those "easier to get nowaday" cars, except for my 4* Huracan, which is still not enough. For the dream of the first time to reach Legend League, I think I will stick with my maxed Chevy GS.

The Acceleration Is Somewhat "Between" Normal. You See, The Huracan Has An Accelaration of above 80. but some cars in B Class Is BELOW Accel 74. Example: Aston Martin DB11: its Top Speed is 340+ And Accel 73.85. Bad Handling, Nitro And Accel. But A Practice Run For Skilled Players to be more skilled. Another: Porsche 911 GTS Coupe: 3 km/h slower than GS but i reach platinum leauge with a 2 star GS. This 3 star has accel 71+. for below 75: F-Type SVR (Jaguar) Top Speed Of 340 km/h And An Accel of 74.75. Similar For Aston Martin DB11. 0.1 or more lower than GS: Cadillac Cien Concept: Top Speed Is High 367.5+. Accel 76+. one of lowest handling but medium nitro efficiency. altough i still agree it's accel is low. most cars in B Class Has Accel Above 76.

you can get some blueprints in class b events every week, and once you get to a certain garage level you can get some blueprints it for credits and tokens(I think at garage level 13)

yes as a competitive switch player without an evo i can tell u the corvette is useless against them i have to use apollo DBS superlehggera and f1 LM which i’m about to unlock nothing else competes
