Why Is IKEA Losing Money On Its Meatballs?

Ойын-сауық

IKEA is famous for a couple of big things. Its mega showrooms are filled with budget-friendly, flat-pack furniture and of course, those iconic Swedish meatballs. If you've ever visited IKEA, you've likely left with more items than you intended to buy and spent some time in their food court, enticed by the irresistible smell of meatballs.
These meatballs are more than just tasty…. they're a clever part of IKEA's strategy. Selling over a billion meatballs annually, they help cement IKEA's warm, Scandinavian brand image. Plus, they play a smart role in keeping customers wandering through the store for hours. After you've filled up on meatballs and lingonberry jam, you'll be ready to toss a new bookcase or sofa into your cart as well.
Both the furniture and the food are wallet-friendly, which explains why millions indulge in both each year. But as you sit there, enjoying your meatballs after picking up that GERSBY bookcase, it's worth pondering. What do you really know about these famous IKEA Swedish meatballs?

I'm a Swede with friends inside IKEA. They don't lose money on the meatballs, that's why.
