Question for devs: What is being done to remove hackers/cheaters from Official servers, given that the majority of new players to the game will start with Official servers and likely get repeatedly insta-killed by someone hacking/cheating. It cannot be beneficial to the Bohemia business model to allow new players to be deterred from continuing with the Dayz game. The playerbase has come to accept this as some test of manhood/womanhood, so to speak, and it should not be this way for this game or any game, for that matter.

They're quite open that they about-turned on wasting devtime to get rid of them and have given the tools to the server owners to detect and ban. I don't think it's a bad call, really.

This is awesome! Onondaga county is where I grew up in Syracuse NY. This area is upstate NY known as the finger lakes region/ Adirondack mountains. Looking forward to more of your videos . Ps I would stay away from fishing at lake Onondaga as it's one of the worlds dirtiest lakes.

@@E.Alavi17I somewhat agree, if that was to come I hope they do it the same way they did CS to CS2. Where a lot of the main/core characteristics of the game stay the same. Sort of a general overhaul to everything but it still feels like the game we all know and love.

This map is based on the fingerlakes area in new york. I live at the north west side of keuka lake which is the y lake. If you look the map in game, bottom right hand corner

Commenting on the dog 🐶 barking, if it really is a serious issue for you then you could try a electric plug in that emits high pitch frequency. Every time they bark it goes off acting like dog whistle and distracts them. Work most the time, but I had a dog who kept barking every time it whistle. Funny looking back, still never used one again lol ✌️

You guys need to get into hardcore namlask maps. Desecrated lands namalsk is a great hardcore sever. Pve with mutatans an cold cold weather. Base building an a huge crafting aystem for tools an such! Proably my new found happy place!

If you just brought a PC instead of a slow outdated tech console you wouldn't have lag issues etc.. and would have all the cool kid stuff, it's the console/manufacturer you need to be speaking to actually, not Bohemia/dayz.

@theREALTRUTHagn Yea I see your point, but I just prefer PS. It's not down to the console manufacturer to develop and release an updated version of the game tho. Surely, the PS5 has enough power to run DayZ if it was optimised, its not like its the most graphically demanding game. And regarding the mods, surely that's a DayZ thing, as you have games like Fallout and Skyrim which allows for in game modding, plus they already have the editor, just needs a few extra bits added in. But I don't know about any of this, way outside of my knowledge. It would just be nice if the console players got a bit of love, that's all, even if it's just to make the game run a bit smoother (cars are a death sentence 🤣)
