I so wish we could obtain clotted cream in America!! My mother visited Scotland back in the 1950s and RAVED about the clotted cream until the day she died in 2015.

To be fair, she'd have died a lot earlier if she'd have managed to get her hands on clotted cream. But she'd have died a happy lass.

Let it melt on any tipe of barbacue, kebabs, gyros and staff like that... It's magical. Or add it to mashed potatoes.. That is how we in Serbia consume it the most.

I know that polypropylene can take a lot of heat before it starts to soften, and it’s usual for certain milk products like yoghurt… maybe they use that?

There are several recipes that hint to 80°C (180°F), which is a fairly low temperature and finding the right plastics to handle it isn't that hard.

I'm watching. I don't have a clue what clotted cream is. I'm guessing we don't have it, or we call it something else...🤷🏻‍♀️ Still watching.... Nope! We don't have that here. I'm sure it's delicious. I'm going to go check and see if LItP has covered this particular product. If not, I'll ask him to.😉✌🏻☮️
