Yes Chrome Hearts is hyped but, it’s more than just horseshoe logo hoodies and cross jeans. This is usually what everybody sees and only wear, you can tell the difference between an actual collector and just some kid in LA with money lol. Im a collector from Japan, and lemme tell you we asian folks got that shit on lock🤝

As someone who has chrome pieces and has rip-off chrome pieces, I can honestly say I don’t see any difference in the 925 quality which to those who aren’t versed in jewelry manufacturing I don’t believe they mix in platinum to their 925 mix. Adding platinum will strengthen it so it won’t dent as easily and doesn’t tarnish. That being said I rock my huge double CH cross daily (the biggest one they make) and regularly get questions and compliments on my chrome stuff.

As the person who makes their prototypes, mold masters and special projects, you're correct in that they do not add platinum to their silver. Also, there are much, much larger crosses than that. Lol

Brand name and hype basically. I like a lot of the custom stuff chrome does like the belts, furniture, and watch bracelets. Though 925. Silver isn't very special and you can certain find brands doing similar things at a nicer price.

It ranges from $400 to $4,000 depending on size and material used. They got 925 silver, 18k white gold and 22k gold.. and depending if there’s diamonds on them or not. A simple hoop earring can cost probably around $400.

if you think the brand is pure hype have a close look at some of the full leather garments on grailed - the brand is no joke when it comes to construction on their upper echelon products and more elaborate silver items. it's not my style, personally find the patched/printed items to be tacky low end streetwear but i think it's a way of them to offer a way into the CH world without requiring a 5-10k expenditure on a leather jacket or pants.

Definitely all hype. How you talk about CH reminds me very much how people looked at Supreme back in the day. The price for a pair of CH denim on Grailed is stupid as hell imo... Can't really say it's good craftsmanship & quality when all they did was slap some leather crosses and added a silver button on a pair of old LEVI's. Any of the Osaka 5 brands would blow it out of the water for a fraction of the price. Maybe I'm missing something but I just don't get CH - or maybe I'm not an elite lol. Guess if you have the extra $$$ to drop it on something like that, no ones opinion should matter. But I do wish people would look into quality garments & jewelery from their local designers, rather than just automatically flocking to these already big brands. There are so many great craftsmans that just go unnoticed.
