That’s because they’re all too busy being boring flies on the wall following the rest of the crowd 🙄 there’s nothing more disappointing than knowing everyone else is content to follow the norms and never think for themselves. Ive seen and done what’s out there and decided it’s just not worth it for me. I love my solitude and I wouldn’t want to be anyone else. Cheers my fellow INTJs 🥂

Because it's only good to be honest when you are asked for your opinion. Don't go out and tell the truth to people that dont ask for the truth but that's circumstantial. For example if they're clearly hurting themselves without knowing or being ignorant then its good to let them know the truth

Trust me INTJ male isn't all that great. Put your personality in a 6'2 280lb frame, your "aloofness" becomes "intimidating" real fast. As you have probably experienced, you try to be honest, which is the most respectful you can be and you end up the bad guy, when I do that I'm a big mean bully. If I try to take the other road and be quiet, then I am "intimidating" or "hostile" and usually "cold". I can't win and I am a male nurse, 90% of my coworkers are womyn, I have two sisters and a very loud mother, I have spent a lifetime trying to find all the ways I can be flexible to adapt to other people. Nursing may not have been the best choice but I liked the science and I felt honored to be able to help those in the most need - aka young and stupid :p. When I have been in a management role, people would often call me "arrogant" because they felt I was over-confidant but to me I was neither confident or not, just logical. I know people like to think the grass is greener but I promise you, you would find a whole new set of problems with some familiar themes.

  • @redpsycho24

INTJ female here. I’m a stay at home mom now, but at my last job all the female coworkers on my team hated me. All I did was keep to myself and mind my own business. I logically could not understand why prioritizing my privacy and solitude was an issue. When they spoke to me I was perfectly genuine and pleasant, I just wasn’t going to initiate conversation or start gushing about my life. 95% of people are too emotional for me especially women and if I can’t see logic in it I dismiss it. All of this is done silently of course. No need to divulge my thinking patterns.

  • @motina2960

It is beacuse you are driven by logic, entellect( by your brain) than emotion. You are not open up about your life beacuse it involve emotion, you are feeling uncomfortable to talk about yourself and initiate a conversation. You prefer deep talk and about something important but not small talk or common conversations You are acting and response by your brain and not your heart. Your brain not let your emotion to come out. In short your mind control your emotion.

As an INTJ, I've observed both men and women gossiping frequently . . .usually extroverted people do this to be the center of attention and it is a precursor to sociopathic behavior. Gossiping is a form of manipulation. They manipulate how others see a person. So, yeah, we don't trust extroverts . . it'll take us time to rule out any sociopathy.

I laugh because the INTJ cartoon girl actually looks like me for once, and most INTJ women I know... it’s nice to be represented. I’ve done photoshoots and cosplay modeling but I’m not a fan of it; I just like the creative process of making the look, and I only pose for pictures to have a record of it. My default is long dark hair, and sometimes glasses, with a comfy gamer geek style. I think INTJs often wear glasses because we don’t care about being seen as intellectual (we take pride in being smart) and glasses are often more efficient than contacts. I don’t bother with my contacts unless I plan to go somewhere and anticipate I will need to wear sunglasses or a face mask.

I used to think like that when I was younger. But as I grew older, I learn to accept myself as it is. I tried to mend friendships that I cut abruptly just because I feel immature back then. I love being alone but knowing someone loves to spend time with me just because it's comfortable makes me feel a bit human. I use social media for things I like, If I don't like things I don't bother to understand. I used to be someone who stressed out with life just by keep thinking about the future but we as INTJ need to learn not to be so harsh to ourselves.

All this talk about "dying alone." Do this, make it your mission to find a partner. Be upfront about what you want. If you want a family, say that. Do several first dates and see if they lead to a second. Be civil and honest. I met someone after my first spouse died. We were both older, not in our twenties anymore. He was ready to settle down but had a lot going on with his career and did not want a lot of frills. Works out great. You can do it.

My major professor was married twice and was upfront about NOT wanting children. It's an important thing to know, basic! If you think that wanting children makes a you a breed cow, then please don't have children. Human beings are meant to breed; if we didn't, there wouldn't be any people. I'm perfectly fine with people who don't want children, but in general it's a natural and very strong drive.

But i dont care about being or looking feminine to fit in, i have always done things in a stubborn way and my confidence is pretty high. Its not only how we react, its things like, i love going for a walk at night, when its quiet and i am totally alone, just thinking and watching the stars when the night sky is clear. Some pretend to be happy to receive and weight it, I hear it out and don’t take it in unless it is something to ponder-but even then it just makes me to analyse the topic/field in general myself and see anything useful, enjoying the analysis, rather than doing anything else 😄 Advice is subjective. They are them, I am me. As are articles about people’s things. If there are actions I do that don’t work towards needed outcome, then I hear out and consider it as an point and again, analyse. At work setting of course I apply what is told-only adjust if is not efficient.

Feedback that is possibly stressful, or that comes from people whose thoughts you don't care much to begin with. Allowing ourselves to open with our emotional doubts and fears uses energy by itself... Repeatedly doing that with random people would make me want to go back home and straight to sleep. Why would I talk about my feelings with anyone but people I actually trust and that bring out the best in me?
