CNBC title should be "Why China may not need Intel and Amd". For years, China relied on buying chips from the US, using money from selling cheap goods to Americans. But now, with US politicians ban chip exports, China is rethinking its strategy. This pressure is driving China to boost its own technology. China may soon appreciate the US for catalyzing this shift, as it's prompting China to enhance its tech and upgrade production-a move it hadn't deemed necessary in its staunch belief in the "free market".

I think China needs Apple now and will still need it in the future. I remember years ago under a video relating to China, some youtuber asked "How could China get success since it is ruled by one party?" Someone joked "the biggest opposite party in China is USA.....". Joke or not, but I think the guy was right----if you haven't competition from inside, you will need one from outside to keep the system healthy. I don't think China will fully ban Apple, Tesla and Intel like what US does to Chines products even if it has domestic replacements. It seems like the Chinese Communist Party knows that the healthy competitions are good things to a system better than US Democratic and Republican politicians.

Huawei went from the lowest market share between the top manufacturers in China up to Q3 2023 to the highest market share this last quarter. Remarkable growth in such a short space of time since they grew 70% in one year. This is significant as China is the largest mobile market in the world.

Freedom and democracy are products deliberately created by politicians and media, there is no personal safety in the society where there is real freedom, as long as the interests of the elite class is harmed people's freedom of speech will automatically disappear, the Chinese government now completely see that reconciliation is never possible, because the United States only want to let China fall into the world's third-rate, like cattle in the pasture!
