The taxes here are so high from things outside our country that is worthy more the entire trip to buy stuff than order it online. Just to make you understand. A ps4 on launch was 4000 reais, that is in actual dolar like 900 USD for a ps4. On USA was 400 or 450. The trip to USA cost about 500 600 USD. So was worthy more to make the trip buy there have some fun and them came back. And this repeat to every single eletronic product. You can grab some stuff if is for you personal without any taxes. Steve, Regarding the connection of the yellow wire to a switched source, and in this case the CAMsmart; could you not take a three wire pigtail that comes with say a D4 and connect it to the Innovv power module thereby permitting connection directly to the CANsmart module? In my case I have allocated one circuit of my CANsmart to a pair of D7's, one circuit to a pair of D4's and one circuit to a B6. Therefore, I have one spare circuit as I am not using a SoundBomb but rather swapped out the standard horn with a 5 Series sedan horn. So by my very limited understanding of these things, I could configure the spare circuit for an accessory, heated seat, heated jacket or in this case the Innovv K2. This would alleviate the clutter around the battery posts with the only downside being that parking mode would not work, which I don't really care about anyway. Would appreciate your thoughts on the subject. Cheers

It's not super difficult to instal the K2 yourself. Give it a shot. Once you find spots for the cameras you just run the cables/wires. If you feel capable at removing some of the body work (tupperware) you can instal the K2. Installing the system on my RT was not difficult.

Knowing that there is video proof of a potential incident gives me piece of mind but the K2 is also a great way to document/video your rides. Quality components. Quality video. Terrible audio. @@karlharrison7378 Hi Karl. Innovv supplies two universal brackets for the cameras. The rear, I mounted to my top, right side, license plate bolt. With a little persuasion (gentle prying) there's enough of a gap between the tail light lense and the housing to feed the cable through to under the seats. The black cable stays nicely in place running up the outside of the fender and into the tail light. I located the Innovv "brain" on top of the bike's ECU, under the rider's seat. The only issue is the built in microphone doesn't pick up anything so I just disabled the audio. On the front of the Wethead RTs, on either side of the bottom of the headlight, there is a "tupperware" screw. I used the one on the right, again with the Innovv bracket, to mount the front camera. On another A BIKE THING video Steve has a photo of a bike like mine, Mars Red RT, showing the front camera mounted in the same place, but on the left. Hope this helps. It's fun to look at the rides later. Gordon

I recommend installing as per Innovv's instructions. Ther K2 has it's own power converter that you connect to your bike's battery. Then you connect the yellow "trigger" wire to any circuit that has power when your ignition is on. I used the passenger accessory plug from under the pillion seat. Some have noted interference if the interface is installed under the pillion seat. My K2 "brain" is under the rider's seat and works flawlessly.

The Innovv K2 starts and stops when your ignition is turned on and off. There is a Park setting whereby the cameras will start recording via a motion sensor, ie: bike gets bumped. I use a 128G memory card and get about 11 hours of video. Innovv says you can use as large as a 256G card. Probably double your recording time. You can choose to save a file by connecting your phone with WiFi. I simply remove the micro SD card after every ride and download the files to my computer for editing later. A fun Winter project.

steve knowles is this for the DC1 or the K2? This all depends on the size of clip you select in your settings. If it’s being used as a dash cam then you maya swell select 3 minutes. 3 minute mp4 file doesn’t take long to download via Wi-Fi. If you’re using this for long extended clips then I’d save myself the wait and whip the sd card out. This is another plus with the dc1 as it’s right there on your helmet to access instead of under your seat.

John Elrick take the money out of this. I do this for fun. Haven’t worked since 2016 but I just can’t sit at home and do nothing. You sound like one of my ex employees who never had any get up and go. Enjoy life fellow human. Don’t suffer and especially don’t waste your energy on me trying to make me see life how you do.
