As a guy that started riding EUC-s 10 years-ago, I can remember the Airwheel Q3, and Q2. These models were a dual wheel models like the E20. They were a great help in teaching people how to ride a EUC. After the rider gets the hang of the training wheels 😅 we moved on to the real thing. It loosened up the stifles of the new riders, and removed some of the fear.

Ah, the Q3. When riding at 10 MPH was fast. LOL
Brilliant idea. A stepping stone to bigger things. I learned on a V8S and added a Lynx a month later.

@@user-xf1ur3hu4z Have you tried a slightly lower tire pressure while you are learning? It might help but be careful not to bend the rim hitting hard bumps. It's all about practice, practice, practice. The V8S is a very forgiving wheel. The big, heavy wheels are a whole other snorting beast. The V8S is like a gentle pony by comparison and a great first wheel. Keep practicing!
I love the concept and I’m very relieved that it’s affordable. I really hope this gets more people to try EUCs

I had to double check it with inmotion just to be sure, but yeah I think that price is really the biggest plus with this wheel!!
Epic to see KELLY ride the E20.
there was a guy and his wife and small child (maybe 5-6 years of age) walking and i was riding up behind them. instead of bothering them and calling out that i was about to pass i just went around them in the grass and as i came around them the man started to say something of the sort of "wow thats really cool" but before he could finish saying it i fell! i just hit a lip in the grass i couldnt see and it threw my balance off and i bailed. anyways, the guy went on to say that he could never ride something like that lmao. i just thought it was funny
@OWGAC

LOL yeah, but I think its pretty obvious to most that learning to ride an unicycle isn't easy and require a whole lot of balance.

Save your pockets!! An euc is for fun right? why so impatient? just enjoy the process of learning on a large wheel. even if it takes longer you're going to learn. sometimes when we get the most frustrated it just "clicks". I wonder, did we collectively fail school as an euc community?
That would be perfect for my kid, who can ride just fine (until I let him go). Two wheels of self-confidence. Funny how some people seem to be comparing it to their own personal use case. It is a confidence builder, haters.

I think this is the perfect wheel for kids, its stable, easy to ride, durable and cheap!
I truly believe this wheel is genius from inMotion. Easy to learn wheel to get more people into EUCs. I expect they priced it low expecting to use this wheel as a stepping stone that they would then want to upgrade after realizing the power of the unigospel. Then when those new EUC riders look up their next wheel, they already are familiarized with inMotion branding and pledge their brand loyalty to inMotion for the v14 or the "New" Pro versions of their wheels. If I was starting off and learned on a specific brand of whatever that something is, I would more than likely order the same brand again when upgrading. I think they priced this wheel under the mten4, even though I'm guessing it's cost to design and manufacturer is more, just to inspire people to pick their first wheel as inmotion over another brand like begode. Placing their bets on the ones that buy this wheel into the brand loyalty with inMotion for their next wheel while expanding the customer base for the EUC market.
Good video, and I agree with you that this device will boost sales and ridership in the EUC community
the v3pro was one of my first wheels and i had lots a precious memories with my daughter riding it. So much that i bought a used one for myself as a standing wheel chair. I can say that it helped tons when i was wheel chair bound, my wife and daughter had issues pushing me in the wheel chair at cheerleading competions but thats when i figured out that if i just put the wheel chair between my legs while sitting in the chair, I can control the euc with my ankels and off I went. I was actually faster than my wife, she had to jog to keep up. Electric wheel chairs were thousands of dollars and would require special work done to my car but this set up with a standard wheel chair and v3pro was perfect for power, speed and portability compared to the electric wheel chair. Im still not 100percent but still enjoy your videos reviewing new wheels.
@OWGAC
Ай бұрын
thank you! loved your story about riding with your daughter and also using it as a basic wheelchair! it really highlighted the advantage of the 2 wheel setup!
This is an EXTREMELY good idea. The only thing I don't like about electric unicycles is I can't just stand there and stop and chill and talk or whatever without swaying back and forth. They need to make a two-wheel one like this with 20" wheels that can go 50+mph like the current high end electric unicycles. The difficulty of an electric unicycle with a single wheel is fun and all, but after a certain point, it just gets boring and inconvenient, like a manual unicycle, once you learn it all. And one like this will certainly bring beginners into it more comfortably and help people who quit and give up trying to learn on a single wheel, especially kids.
@burieddeepbetween

I'm not sure you'd want to ride something with two wheels in between your legs at those speeds. It wouldn't soak up the imperfections in the riding surfaces effectively at more than 20kmh.

My first EUC was the V11. It was not easy but I bought it with my own money so I learned how to ride it. I would bet the E20 is a lot easier to learn. EUCs are awesome

Awesome Idea and Execution of that idea. The price is Right for a Learner EUC I could buy this. Learn the basics and not feel I wasted money learning on it. Then save up for a bigger EUC with better range & power.
It's really clever, they should make a second wheel to go with it so once the person learns, you pull the original dual wheel off, and install a single wheel. It would probably be pretty cheap and easy to do.

I’m probably going to buy this my 4 year old. I would like for just a a really fat tire in the future though.
Having taught about a dozen different people to ride on a KS 16s, I can see why this would be a nice wheel to have. My younger kids could learn to ride without having to get their shins bashed, and it's a lot less likely to get banged up and destroyed. At $400, I agree with Hsiang that it's a deal. I have plenty more people around me that would like to learn, but only so many wheels to help teach people the basics. I think InMotion has a good idea with this one.
Thanks, been watching you for a while now, checked out your site, you do good reviews.... just bought this for my wife, trying to get her involved, I think this will give her the confidence to try it... then she can ride one of my other thtree and i will use it to teach people. Thanks again. peace.
I may give this one a try. Do you think the crutch of the two wheels hinder the transition to a single wheel? I really want to get into the EUC world but have the fear that you state that I won't like it or be great at it as I think or hope and dropping at least $700 (current sale price of the InMotion V8S, what I was thinking of starting with) and it sit in my garage or have to sell it. Hmmmm. I really like the inmotion V11 or V11Y and love the look of the Begode A2 but IDK. Love your videos by the way!!!!

I think the E20 will get you about 80% there on the skills of riding an EUC, also, I do think that you can ride it around and still have fun, I rode the i5 for 6 month when I started and I was perfectly happy!
I've been riding since 2017, and I love the idea of a $400 wheel that won't cut out and throw you. I have a V13 and had an Mten4 to complement it, but I overpowered the Mten4 and took a trip to the hospital. I trust that the E20 can be the safe, small wheel that you ride for quick, local errands.
@OWGAC

I forgot to mention it but aside from the warning beeps, it also have a decently strong tilt back to keep you out of trouble of cutting it out despite its low power rating.
I think if they made a wheel on a square profile wide wheel instead so it's easy to learn like the onewheel, it would be less controversial. It's the face EUC that get's ppl.
I myself started on a similar model called the "swagroller"😂, which had almost the same specs as this one. Crappy machine but it did make me hooked on EUCs and buy a LOT more wheels😅 So might me a smart move from Inmotion 😊

I learnt on a Ninebot One E+ which I still have and still ride - I think I'll stick with that 🙂 When I started my duration with the wheel were short as well, exhausting. How people ride miles on these these things was a complete mystery to me. I top out at around 30-35 miles or so now (Begode Master), in a a single ride and even I am amazed (I know people do go a lot further, not everyone is 66 though 🙂).

I like the novelty of it. Too small for my requirements, I fear, but seems like something that'd be fun to grab a few of and go sell test runs at carnivals and festivals.
I want one for my 4yr old. I have an old Freemotion (350w 134wh 14in) that has training wheels but it really only goes straight with the training wheels on and its actually harder to ride vs taking the small Rollerblade wheels off. Awesome to see this old idea resurrected by inmotion!
Very clever video with excellent commentary! Is your friend thinking about the real thing? Best of luck and thanks for sharing.
Great video Hsiang ... wonder why Immotion never thought of the full high powered EUC with 2 wheels long ago ... they did this with motorcycles 7 years ago ... copy and paste this into a YT search to see what I mean ... LM847 - LAZARETH - V8 ENGINE POWERED MOTORCYCLE - Test Drive in Annecy ... keep up the great work!
i was surprised by the miniature, but i got your point, i just have my first unycicle apprentice, good friend of mine i gave him my first MCM5 V2 light, we get it in one week, but with the kingsong easyer
im buying three for my family members, i am so happy they are bringing the dual wheel back so people will be less afraid (I ride a v13)
On Point! Let's GO!!!
1:20 tells me you may wanna bump that tire psi up!
Good job, on the business side promoting a product, hoping that your users numbers go up nice way to build a following.
In Pennsylvania the vehicle code specifically states "dual wheel"self balancing are legal on roadways. For single wheels some cities love them and others want to ban them.
I used to have the Inmotion V3S and it was so much more practical for everyday use than all of these newer monowheels. It just lacked power but it was so good at taking over hills nonetheless.

Damn Hsiang it looks like you're riding in a portable ac😂wtf bruh keep riding the real euc's✊️
I thought it will be much easier to learn than it is. Weird :D cheers !
Would be nice in warehouses. You don't need to take out the stand or find a wall to let it lean against. Hop on and off anywhere. Good way to move around.
Looks like a good starter EUC.
Nice wheel :) !
That would definitely be easier than the V10F I learned on.
I could use one of those to teach in my neighborhood. They're afraid of the power of my V12 HS.
Let me try it!
I actually like onwheel more than EUC snd I started with KS S 16 pro B4 buying the OWs. I do more loitering and going slowly in an area, doing tight circles etc. EUCs basically have ro be kept moving. Onewheels you can just stop and admire the scenery. Also, you can look at something sideways (default) and not run it over when you want to move. Maybe this will the the onewheel version of euc? Can you basically stand still on it?
Very cool
Yes! The old helmet is back!
I didnt understood all the hate, too!
@rigogen
Ай бұрын
the hate are mostly coming from long time riders who thinks that every brand should make a wheel for them and only for them, they are so high up in their own ego that they forgot that the majority of public thinks EUC's are very hard to ride, now Inmotion created something that ordinary people, wives and small children can enjoy without the hard learning curve, this will create a positive look on EUC and more people might try this model first before moving on to the traditional ones.
Everyone seems really bent out of shape that this thing exists in the comments on everyone else's coverage. I'm honestly annoyed because all these videos and no one has a link to where I can purchase one; the fact that inmotions website has zero on this (basically it doesn't exist) really pisses me off. I would really love to pick one up for my children
Does this E20 help an experienced EUC rider learn to ride backwards? I've been riding forwards for years and I try to go backwards a couple times each time I go riding, but have yet to be able to get the hang of it. Would this E20 be the best option to learn backwards riding that would also help me to ride backwards on my bigger wheels like my S22 or Master Pro?
@360vroomers
Ай бұрын
Try mten3. It’s easier to ride backwards on it compared to a large wheel. Still not easy to learn but definitely much easier.

Dual wheels were always a poor idea. IMO, a smaller form EUC with smaller diameter, wider tire profile will allow for high speed, wobble-free riding.👌

yeah, but there aren't really any other EUCs for $400 either. so if it comes down to E20 or nothing...
When I was first seeing pictures of this I honestly thought they were showing pictures of some of the old wheels of the past because I do remember two wheels before electric unicycles really were powerful in any way. I kind of see this as a step backwards to an extent. I don't think people have to go through these stages of buying all these lightweight wheels to learn. Any person who really wants to get into this hobby will take the time to learn on a wheel with more weight to manage. I started on a RS19, friend of mine had zero experience and went straight to the OG Commander HT from Extremebull. I see wheels like this as a cash grab for nervous newbies.... A somewhat waste of their money to squeeze a little bit extra out of their newness and nervousness
@OWGAC

there are fast and slow learner and then there are people whom simply gave up learning out of frustration, which I have also heard of. I knew someone whom bought a sherman S, couldn't learn how to ride it and then have to sell it at great loss, for that person at least, the E20 would had been a better fit.

I don't see this as a cash grab by inmotion. It seems at $400 more like a loss leader or break even product to get more customers who will eventually get a higher profit margin wheel.
So basically I'm just trying to see if there's much of a difference between a $400 Segway ninebot Max. Seems very similar. Berri No-ICE.
