Oooh we disagree on this one I love the East West - it’s waaaay better than the original. The s-lock is on so many LV bags, and monogram… standard LV. I agree that the price is crazy!

I totally agree with your reasoning and prefer the bags that you already have! I have other monogram options that I prefer, including the Petite Malle Souple.

Agree on all of these! Neverfull all the way! Still the best bag and much as they try to bring out alternatives they are never as good IMHO. I like the On The Go but I would go for the smaller cross body one as it is a different vibe altogether. Fab video!

Definitely great thinking! I think the PMEW is still on my wishlist, BUT I am letting go of my pallas clutch because I too thought they were too similar (canvas crossbody with chain). I do love that the PMEW is a cute way to have a small bag that still fits a phone and a bunch of lippies reasonably. I AM just going to sit and think about the price for a good long time. 😐

So the moral of the story is don’t buy bags that are similar to bags you already own 😅 I don’t think I got that memo. I have so many similar bags and it doesn’t seem to stop me buying even more 😂

I love the east west pochette Metis. I think it is so much better than the regular one. The regular was so big on my frame and the strap was so stiff. The new one is more useable size and the strap is different. I would love the new version. Putting it on my wish list 😻 If I was considering it, I would look for a used to save some money. I agree, it is a hefty price!

Without the gold chain and 10% cheaper in price would make the bag ideal

The EW-LV bag is absolutely beautiful and practical. It is not like the multi bag at all. It is like the tube but the tube is more like the trunk.

Can I say also I haven’t found any canvas bags that have excited me this much in years. It is I would say a sexy bag. It’s very feminine looking .. to me it doesn’t compare to large size. I purchased & absolutely love it. Because of its broad range of uses. Also I don’t have anything that mimics it.

I think the E-W pochette Métis is way more attractive than the cylinder one. It sits better against the body and is more pliable to the cylinder one (whatever it’s called). The price is the reason I can’t/won’t purchase the E-W bag.

Disagree.. the east west has more functionality than its big sis. Cute dress ( chain strap) daily errands ✅ crossbody ✅ polished professional look ( short shoulder) it absolutely is clutch for all your needs. Love it.

I do not have any lv bag. I have black chanel classic flap in small. I am considering east west pochette metis but confused about monogram vs empirente. Which one would you recommend? My thought is monogram would not be duplicate but paying this much for canvas does not make sense. Emp version just cost $70 more than canvas. First world problem... grrr

I don’t think they are similar. I have the papillon trunk & a leather Metis. The papillon is much prettier than the east west I think. I want to try the east west to see if I’d like it. I don’t want a full size canvas Metis ☺️

I think the EW is a beautiful option

It is really small. Compared to the original PM, it is shorter in height and length and also a bit more narrow. It is in between the original and the micro. I find ridiculous that the price is higher than the PM in empreinte leather. The strap only has 2 adjustments and on the longest one it might be too short for cross body wear on some people. It is a big NO for me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Your bag collection is amazing... 🥰

The east-west is too small. They should have made it bigger than the original Pochette Metis. That would be a great work or travel bag. The Pochette Metis is already the perfect size for every day and they have the Micro Metis for those that want smaller. The east-west is a missed opportunity IMO.

Hello gorgeous. I was waiting for your opinion on the new Metis. I think she is so lovely 😍❤️ The regular was on my list for a long time, than l bought the Coach Cassie and l sold it for the Cassie 19 which l love so much l bought 2 of them. But the new metis made my heart sink to the point l'm considering starting saving for her. If you wouldn't have the papillon would you buy it?

Love E-W other than the price and the chain, I really don’t like it and would just take it off. The proportions of the chain look too big and too long to wear as decoration and it’s too casual looking a bag to wear just with the chain. The chain seems to be where the money is though and what’s making it more expensive than its big sister. ‘Let me sell you less bag for more money’, say LV - adding the chain is definitely just a cash grab from them. The Papillon costs a little less, looks much nicer, far more interesting and the chain works with its cylindrical shape. I feel you could use it day & evening whereas the new E-W is just a day bag.
