I’ve noticed how your breast looked pretty overpowering on your small frame. Always wondered how you felt about it. I’m glad you are doing something to make you look & feel good about yourself. Good luck with everything!

I recently had a breast reduction on July 7th. I went from a DD to a B. My insurance covered it 100%. Best decision of my life!!! The recovery was hella quick!! Bed rest for 2 weeks. My scars are healing great! YOURE GONNA LOVE THE RESULTS!!!!

I had my surgery years ago so things may have changed in the way surgery is done...but my boobs actually grew back. Yes they grew back. I realized that gaining weight plays apart in them growing back...for me. My boobs are fatty boobs. My gynecologist told me if I do it again I should go to someone who specializes in reconstruction surgery. I thought about getting them done again but scared.

@@journeyk8365 you have to say you want a reduction because they are heavy, painful & limit movement. You have to have it documented with your primary care doctor that they’re painful. Most insurances will cover it if you’re getting a reduction due to pain & not cosmetic

I think that this can really help other ladies out going through this ! Thanks for sharing.

I had my breast reduction in 2009. I was a DDD now I’m a C. My weight has definitely fluctuated but my breast never got bigger. I am still the same size as my surgery in 2009. I did have my nipples removed however, I now have feeling and back then I didn’t. Good Luck!!!!!!! You’ll love them. You’ll have so much freedom!!!

Yasssss!!! So happy for you! I recently (like real recent as in 2 weeks ago) went through with my breast reduction surgery and GORL, if you get drains (which I’m told is mandatory when jumping mannnny sizes down), beware! Veryyyyy painful. Honestly it was the worst part and I had them in for a week! Still recovering but I went from a 36H to a C-ish (still trying on bras because I too told my doc to make them as small as possible) and I’ve never been happier!! I am 5 ft 2 so I feel you!

Thank you for sharing love! I went back and asked my doctor and they said drains only if there are a lot of fluids. I have heard so many people say the same thing!!

First time commenting, let me say beautiful family, I support you 1000% because I’m a woman with big boobs and I feel like I have struggle with them my whole life and it’s painful, my shoulders have those indents and my back hurts, I have struggled with insecurities since 11 and yes now I have kids they have double in size, working out and bras, clothes is a problem and yes I do love love my curvy body but if I had the opportunity I would get reduction in a minute.

I think this is the best decision. I haven't met a woman to this day that has EVER regretted it. They all love it. Even the ones with jacked up scarring still says she doesn't regret it. You got this sis.

Hey Cousin. Do what makes you happy and confident. My sister's have big boobs and have back problems. My niece had to do at 21 cause it was affecting her self esteem. She looks great a confident now. And healthy. Hope you will have enough time to heal. Good luck.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Girllll listen, I just had a breast reduction and lift last July. I have neverrrrrrrrrr been able to wear a good bra that actually fits so I stuffed and tucked my entire life. After children my breasts went to helllllll and never came back lol. The only thing that I regret is not doing it sooner! I’m happy with who I am but this has boosted my self confidence to a whole nother level, stopped neck, chest and back pain. Best thing about this is I can finally go in stores to buy bras or go braless. Good luck on this journey and praying for a safe recovery 😊

That is what I had, same surgery...I don't regret it...congrats for the decision. I never wore a training bra and started in 6 grade for me, my teacher sent a note for me to wear a bra... Bouncing around the playground was a problem 😆

I first and foremost want to commend you on making such a great huge decision and sharing it with us cousins. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate it! I am one who has been considering it for many years, and therefore would like to know the financial aspects of going through the process. I will be using my insurance and I am pretty sure they will pay for it because my boobs are the cause of my back pain. So anything that you share financially I will greatly appreciate. Hey Babe, I (Cherice) got my reduction in 2014 and I was a 42 GGG (OMG I KNOW) and I went down to a 40 C and I got the exact same surgery (free nipple). It was the best decision of my life and girl you will love the results

I had one and it's the best thing I could have done...

People always have something to say. I don't care if you do this for vanity purposes or if it's medical purposes. At the end of the day it's your body and do as you please to make yourself happy and comfortable. I wish you a successful surgery. And that you heal with ease. Big boobs are a struggle! I gained 10pds of boob weight this year on top of a car accident! Girl I was thew! 😂😩 So happy for you and your decision!

Congrats!!! Getting my BR coming from a 38JJ to a 38DD; gained 25# during C-Quarantine they (the breast) are now a 38EE LOLOL anyway it was a great decision. Healing is easy and a lil itchy as the nerves awaken. I was approved thru insurance, however, I went with a private Dr b/c I wanted the results I got!!! Another reward buying over priced bras b/c Of size & a Good fit has now changed to 3 pack sports bra from whoever ... Target, Ross, Marshalls. The BR was the best decision I made Just For ME. Oh and the back & shoulder pain ended immediately.

I did it . I love it. But some of my feelings didn't come back. I did mines 15 years ago. I believe they have upgraded a lot since than. Now they remove my nipple also and they have to cut under your arm Pitts. My friend daughter had one also. Her scars are beautiful. Mines are awful. I wish I never done mines cause of the scars. But love I got rid of them. If that makes sense . I am a 44dd now

Did it in 2015. One of the best decisions I ever made. They will tell you to use Neosporin on your incisions. Lies your best friend will be AQUAPHOR and slap a lot of it on, 2-3 times a day and your incisions will heal better and not get infection. I think I was a 50 DD idk what my size is now I think a B, I just wear sports bras now. Happy healing I'm sure you'll do great.
