I agree I think they should put the game on a down time and re work the game and relise it back when they fix it. And if they do this and fix the game they shouldn't just relise to content creator to run the game for about a week or 2 and if the content creators come across any glitches or thing they don't like then they fix it and continue it till it's fixed and then relise it back 2 the public

The devs don’t give two shits and the game is atrocious. Isn’t gonna change if people in the community hype it up to ridiculous amounts. Also it’s just awful lol

I think their idea of pumping out a yearly COD and then fully integrating it into Warzone is severely flawed and puts them in a place where they are creating problems as quickly as they are solving them. It would make way more sense to pick and choose the best elements of each new COD game to integrate into Warzone, as long as they fit well within the greater sandbox. The cold war integration was a disaster and resulted in broken metas and duplicate guns. The vanguard integration is now forcing everyone to play with WWII weapons, which could be fun for a time, but has already become tedious. Not to mention the ever present problem of not having an efficient way to leveling guns without buying multiplayer which kind of defeats the point of it being free to play. COD is going through an identity crisis and the sooner they figure out that Warzone should be completely own entity with no obligation to integrate with each years new COD game the better.

profits were never reflected in the operating budget of the service no real investments were made to compensate for the new ever increasing insane scale of multi-game verse. Too much too fast by incompetent eugenicists bent on quick profits instead of long term management. In simplicity what we are experience is a culmination of decades of mismanagement, or depending how you look at it may just be intentional as most other shallow Corporate services only there to suck up as much money as possible at the cheapest possible cost - in order to pay for maintaining this global system as the Law Society has for hundreds of years now, because I simply don't know what else you'd spend billions of profits on while running cheap low tickrate high ping garbage.

Surprisingly you do have very good points. I could see Activision adding not all 38 weapons each year but 10 weapons in the very beginning and then keep adding 5 weapons or so every season. That way Raven (a very mediocre team) can balance these guns and makes it more interesting as time goes by. I still believe that next year when Infinity Ward released MWII, they will FIX everything that is wrong with COD right now. New amazing modern weapons, alongside Guns Inspection 2.0 + that 3rd mode DMZ which is rumoured to be a new take on Escape from Tarkov. Also hearing they are going to release a new WarZone map (mixing multiple MW 2, and MW3 multiplayer maps) which just sounds amazing. Unfortunately all that will be next Dec 2022 and that means we have to suffer through this MESS that is Caldera. Also I hope to God IW takes WarZone away from Raven and work on it themselves for the next 2 years (2023 2024) that’ll be a DREAM COME TRUE!

They don‘t care about their game and community and you don‘t have to deal with it. I tried apex in the last few months and i was in shock once i realisied how different the game is, when you look at the community and the connection between developers and player. When comparing it to warzone it‘s absolutely shocking, so everyone should understand why you are done with this game. I can not image doing this for a living, when you as part of the community get back nothing, when you are one of the people promoting this game. You are part of their success and it‘s honestly mind blowing how they don‘t care. I think as long as you play something that is competitive in some way and interesting to learn it will be fine. People that play a lot of BR‘s will realize how important communication between company and player is and will switch games. You have a great personality and that is why everyone should laugh together with you, not seeing you hate your life, because of some game like warzone

I’ve stopped playing war zone near the end of verdansk and I felt a big relief off my chest since I’ve been miserable playing CoD. I hope that in time things get better but with the way things are at right now I just don’t feel optimistic about CoD at all. It’s a real bummer.

Could not agree more. You can’t see anyone on caldera and every fight you get in is a long range gun fight. The trees and foliage is just pure laziness and adding mountains of rocks is truly a middle finger to all players because you can’t fucking climb them and that’s been an issue since the first day that war zone came out. Call of duty truly is so out of touch with their community is really is embarrassing. They do not listen to anything you complain about and honestly nothing will change. It sucks to say because of how good call of duty as a whole is, I just have 0 hope that positive changes will happen and that warzone will be an enjoyable game again.

I had similar thoughts about this a while ago, really didn't like how Warzone felt to me and I only played it because my friends were as well. I got to a point where I was just fed up with the game, around the time cold war betas were going on, I decided to give Apex a try midway through season 6 as I remembered enjoying the game in season 2 & 3, and I haven't stopped playing since, it feels so much more competitive and the way the weapon system works I greatly prefer over warzone. I still regard the MW multiplayer as one of my favourite CODs though and didn't realise at the time how enjoyable it was until I look back at it.

In terms of gunplay, COD hasn't really changed that much since MW2. To me COD feels like they have been reskinning the same game for 10+ years and barely adding basic features that dont really improve the quality of the game that much. Given the inclusion of a BR mode was a pretty big deal but, other than that, nothing that major had changed in COD for awhile. I'm sure there's alot of people out there that love COD for staying the same but, for me I'd rather play COD4 than Vanguard any day of the week

Not really Advanced warfare changed cod for a couple years BO3 followed and did it a bit better, zombies was the last best thing we got since then. Sure some hated advanced warfare, some loved it. Can’t really make an argument about that because either ways there’s people out here who truly loved the exo movement from AW and BO3. That was truly the last time and COD was different and innovative, and good. It died after that and it truly became a copy and paste after WW2. MW 2019, it was decent tho

I 100% agree with you. I stopped playing warzone a while back a little bit before you and Tim and everyone went to go apex for a bit. I still hop back on a little bit every now and again but most times I hop on I am meat with cheaters. I still love the game but it's hard to play sometimes and it's the same game we had 2 years ago.

The point regarding foliage is one of my biggest gripes with the new map. I can’t see shit. Idk who in their right mind thought it was a good idea

i get what you are saying i'm even thinking of uninstalling warzone (not that i really play it) and also taking a break from cold war(which i play a lot) and playing more games like fortnite and splitgate where i feel more relaxed and not so on the edge all the time

Hey Courage I don’t watch your videos I probably wouldn’t have seen a video of yours since like BO3 if you were active then. Just wanted to say that as a cod player who has been playing since 2007 and is extremely frustrated with the direction of call of duty in the last 5 years or so THANK YOU for using your platform to voice the concerns that thousands of us have. I don’t know if you stepping away will prompt any real change but for the long term health of one of my favourite games it’s necessary that you do this and i hope your fellow warzone streamers will follow you.

i dont blame you. i think im just tired on wz at this point. staying on one map for almost two years just drained me. i didnt buy vanguard after how bad cold war was last year. im not willing to spend the time to grind just to get a competitive gun and so on. im sure i'll try it out once the kinks are worked out but will no longer play wz as a main game tbh.

The problem with COD in my opinion falls on the development methodology. Most other studios have adopted an agile approach where they pump out an MVP (minimal viable product) and iterate as quick as possible. Agile methodology makes games feel less stale. COD has the old school waterfall approach where they plan everything, launch and struggle to prioritize defects or new features after the go live date.

A lot of the stuff mentioned is in the limited game mode. I started playing regular quads and it feels like normal warzone with old vehicles and no planes/loud noises. Once they get rid of that game mode and open it up for solos, duos, trios it will be better. However, I agree the loadouts and foliage situations are horrible.

I feel the exact same way as you with literally everything you said. I quit about a week ago.. being on ps5 and not getting an FOV slider and instead having the polygon gun glitch literally every game I couldn’t deal with it anymore.

My friends & I are legitimately buying nintendo switches because we can not handle this map. It's terrible. Unbelievably depressing because Verdansk was maybe the most fun I've ever had on a game.

The problem with a ranked mode in warzone is that it's really hard for skilled players to set themselves apart from the average player base because the game has a very low skill ceiling due to the machanics and the way it's made for the more casual player... so ranked would be a hell of a grind, whereas in apex for example there is a clear cut difference between a gold/plat player and a diamond masters player. Plus with the servers and the crossplay currently in place doesn't merit a good enough experience (24-40 tick rates).

Completely agree with the things you said. What gets me.. Is the fact they announced this new map months ago, yet when you play it, it just feels like it was a last minute job. There's so many issues with it that I really struggle to believe it has been tested prior to release. Same with the anticheat, why announce that its coming in the future - if anything that just made hacking and rage hackers 10x worse because they would try make the most of it while they still could. It should just have been dropped in with no warning

I may be totally alone in this but I really do like the new map. I like most of the changes they made. Granted I have not experienced the bugs and crashes that a lot of people have. I’m having a much better time in this than I did in verdansk. My opinion. With that being said. Play what makes you happy dude.

Verdansk was a life savior for me. Lost my dad & dog in the last 15 months & WZ was the perfect escape. Grinded an absurd amount of hours with friends & that helped me alot. Caldera unfortunately has been the complete opposite. I find it incredibly frustrating & boring. The guns much of the same. Such a disappointing turn for one of the best games of my life.

I’m not going to blame the devs for this, I’m blaming the main thing and that is the parasite that is Activision. Devs want fans/streamers/etc to enjoy the game as much as possible but they can’t get stuff to go through when Activision rejects ideas that would be better for our experience and approves ideas that fatten their wallets.

Honestly I don't know why people still play warzone or call of duty in general. I played cold war for 1 week and saddly retired from CoD. The companies that make these games don't care about the game and they for sure don't give a fuck about their player base. It's consistant garbage. Every update is making the game worse and evey gun added is overpowered as shit, it's just sad that the developers have giving up on the game. Also It doesn't help that Activition/Blizzard is a scummy company that takes priority to sexually harassing employees than making their games better. So glad I retired and moved on. I hope the rest of you do the same.

I enjoy the saturation, not open fields, and actual fun for solo players on the map. Its great, Roze skin isn't broken on it and it is fun to move around on. All the bugs have nothing to do with the map.

Warzone has never really touched me. I like the goulag, but there isn't much special about it. Apex is much preferred by me and I enjoy it way more

My unpopular opinion: having loadouts in the buy station was worst decision they ever made. All other BRs the rng of finding good ground loot dictates how your game will go. Also free loadouts only would have created alot more gunfights and player convergence. However its too late to go back, players are too used to being able to easily obtain their loadouts

Today I quit playing Warzone. The first thing I did after uninstalling is go on KZread to see how other felt after doing so. Reason why I quit is simple. The game isn't fun anymore. I was mostly playing because this is the only game me and my friends would agree on and it's free. Pretty much forcing myself to play when I knew I wasn't having a good time. Caldera is trash and Rebirth has turn into a soup kitchen. Don't see the game getting better going foward. I still have love for COD but we desperately need change. I wish the focus was still a good multi-player but we all know what they did to that.

Respect for doing the right thing 💪🏼 some people play because they know it will keep viewers but it’s supposed to be fun

Old map was ok but i like the new map, it's way better. Everyone camping buildings is over rated. Also the fact that no one can get a load out early is great. No one can use their "Meta" weapons which is also great, because now you actually have to be good with your movement and make your shots. My team spams UAVs and we destroy the lobby. Multiple wins so far back to back. Take out everyone's advancement and only a few survive.

Can't agree with any of these points beyond cheaters. Limiting the loadout means casual players aren't getting decimated by no lifers who have every single gun already max level. The foliage is fine, why would you expect to run through a bush? It fills in the massive open area so you're not getting lazered from someone's kitted automatron. The trucks suck but if we're honest they're unecessary. Planes are fucking amazing, the controls take some getting used to. You can't tell me getting into a dogfight or dive bombing someone on peak didn't crack a massive smile on your face. UAVs are $6k they're not that common.

best 40-60$ you will spend, story mode takes time to beat. i play 1-2hours about 3 times a week and have not beaten it in the last 7 months i’m like 85% done

Removing foliage would make the game worse. Whoever has higher ground can simply snipe the open areas, anyone trying to move through it gets killed as they have no cover. Terrible idea.
