Glad you're feeling better and Thank you for sharing your honest experiences. I turn 52 in June and I can definitely tell you that ever since I've turned ~50, my body doesn't recover as well/fast without proper rest. I've had to set a different priority towards my sleep versus my 40's. Plenty of rest and sleep is now mandatory for me especially after a rigorous workout. Getting older sucks😄

I watched you Power Project episode when it first came out. I remember you mentioning a bit about the food you eat. Thank you for sharing your experience. I applaud you being open minded and your willingness to try new things. As we age we need to adapt, try to replenish things that our bodies no longer are as efficient at producing or processing. Sleep is way more essential than most of us were taught growing up. As a side note, for joint mobility I recently added 250mg of Hyaluronic acid as a supplement. After 120 days I can honestly say that my shoulders and elbows are not as cranky as they used to be. They no longer click or Mack popping noises when I lift. I workout at least 6 days a week. Perhaps that might be worth a try for you. Anyway, thank you for sharing your journey,it is inspiring. Cheers.

Thanks for this update, Bill. I'm 54 years old, and not as in shape as you, but I do try to stay in shape with BJJ, running and lifting. I just started having a sore right knee after not having any joint issues my whole life, so I've been lucky. The soreness emerged from some 2 day long grappling training seminars I went through. I'm already a Marek client so I've been wondering if I should try BPC157 to help accelerate the healing. I haven't heard about the tb-500. Looking forward to more updates.

Carnivore cured my kidney stones, joint pain and pretty much everything else I had going wrong - did it for about 18 months and now I swing between meat, fruit, dairy and others with weeks of straight carnivore mixed in as a reset - I started feeling run down after long term carnivore but feel fantastic with cycling it on and off.

I'm starting a 3-month cycle of these peptides to address a partial labral tear in my shoulder. After trying PT, OT, nerve studies, injections, etc., I've made lifestyle changes like wearing arch-supporting footwear all the time and getting nearly 8 hours of sleep each night also for the first time in about 30 years, which has been great for me. However, I still don't have the mobility I desire and even calisthenics are a struggle. Thanks for your videos!

Get that sleep up closer to 7-8hrs if you can and you’ll absolutely notice a difference - had a friend who lived on 4-5hrs a night for a decade and worked on getting more for a few months and has realized he screwed up by not getting more sleep sooner. We’re just built for that 7-8hr mark, even tho some people can live on way less for decades, it’s just not ideal

  • @WideAwakeHuman

As boring as it sounds he just focused on the basics of sleep routine - wake up and get sunlight as early as possible, stop eating 3-4hrs before bed, be as active as you can during the day, go to bed every night at the same time, make sure it’s dark and cool in your bedroom, I think he started taking melatonin and magnesium before bed but can’t remember. I gave him list of things to try so not totally sure how many of them he did every night but he was miserable for the first few weeks/month and actually got less sleep I think for the first few days but it just took time for his body to adjust but once it did he’s got a pretty solid routine now. He also made some dietary changes sometime in that process but mostly just cutting out sugary/processed foods and soda, nothing super drastic. I think he was prob drinking enuff caffeine in coffee and cola that it was prob making it hard to sleep also. Priority wise Cut out caffeine Go to bed every night and wake up at the same time, as close to when the sun goes down and comes up as possible Be active Don’t eat for a few hours before bed Expect it to suck for a while before it gets better and just stick with it and it’ll pay off Good luck

  • 2 ай бұрын

@@WideAwakeHuman Thank you for this list. I've seen it before, but it's more powerful when you know a real person has put it to work. I'm taking magnesium, which I think is excellent because sometimes my body shows a full recovery (Whoop), even when my sleep time is insufficient. I credit the magnesium for most of those occasions, as well as having meditated that day. The hardest part for me is getting to bed at a consistent time. I actually have an alarm on my phone at 9:30 pm as a reminder to start getting ready for bed, but I ignore it most of the time. So, I know there is a strong psychological dimension to my struggle. Something to do with squeezing more out of my day and not loving myself enough to grant myself permission for better and more consistent self-care routines. I'm an immigrant (I came to the U.S. at 21 after finishing University in Mexico City), the son of a workaholic father who died at 49 from stomach cancer (high stress, untreated ulcers, and heavy smoking), and a hardworking mother who is 86 now and still works out, swims, drives, travels and has her days full of activities. The U.S. capitalist system has rewarded me for these workaholic tendencies (I became a senior executive for a Fortune 500 Co. in my late 20s, founded an international tech start-up in my early 30s, and have been a successful business owner for the last 20+ years). So, my natural instinct is to keep grinding even though I intellectually know that real creative/problem-solving productivity only happens for 3-4 hours a day. I'm reading a book called From Strength to Strength by Arthur C. Brooks. It discusses this exact issue and why the habits and modus operandi habits that help us succeed in the first half of our lives no longer work in the second half of our lives. I'm also taking my spiritual practice more seriously (I learned Zen meditation from a Japanese monk when I lived in Tokyo in the late 90s), as I'm quite aware that every day is a gift and the end of our days here is guaranteed. Thank you for caring and engaging with me.

I had an experience yesterday where I woke up after 5 hours of sleep with my knee aching badly still from the big day I had standing for 14 hours. Went back to sleep for 2 hours and the pain was completely gone. For me the last 2 hours of my sleep make the biggest difference in how well rested I am. Anything under 6.5 hours and i feel like i didn't sleep at all, if I sleep a full 8 i feel like I'm going to have the best day of my life because of how well rested I feel. 8 hours of sleep is more important than work. I can get more done in 5 hours at work on 8 hours of sleep than I could in 8 hours on 5 hours of sleep.

I can’t believe it took me until my 40s to try one, now I can’t be without one. Makes a big difference for me. I sometimes have to lay down in the dark with the mask on listening to very specific things that sooth me. Certain quiet podcasts or certain music on a loop . You want to find the opposite of stimulating. Until you are able to get more sleep regularly, I want to encourage you to try creatine in the morning in any drink you like or just gulp it with plain water or electrolytes or even juice if you want. Get a solid 8gr of creatine any morning that you are sleep deprived (under 6 hrs of sleep). Good luck! Wishing you the best

Some people it's positive as it can relieve anxiety, but others say they feel numb to pleasure or happiness when they are using it. I've not read of any permanent effects. I'm also considering taking it for a very long term shoulder injury that isn't bad enough for surgery, but just wont heal on its own, so i have been doing a lot of research

Thank you, but I’m realizing the word “depressed” should more aptly be restated as “discouraged” My mood has actually been fine, but now it a lot better due to the reduction in pain and stiffness from shoring up my crooked feet. 😂 Aloha🤜🤛

I have used BPC157 and TB500 on and off this last year. I have not seen any mood effects. I have several friends that have used it as well and no mood effects. It can definitely help with nagging injury recovery. It help heal my wrist injury and a friend of mine completely healed his hand after many injuries and surgeries. Dosage is probably at play with potential side effects. May people use a very high dosage which can increase potential side effect profiles. I typically use 500 mcg/day at night with no adverse effects.

Wareing thongs ( flip flops ) around the house fixed a lot of my knee pain. Podiatrist said i have high arches and to get arch support shoes or inserts, I worked out this pushed my knees out further and made things worse. After 10 years of constant pain and asking so many doctors for help my knees, ankles and hips are now 75% better just from wareing flip flops rather than bare feet.. friggin doctors. Also, I eat well, sleep well, deload every 3-6 weeks, take rest days, and dont push to hard now days

At first they felt great but recently I’ve had a tore hamstring, my knees are starting to ache and issues with my shoulders. Started to think that maybe some insoles would help.

I was told I have an autoimmune disease, called myositis. But to hear u say the "burning" sensation? U are the first I've heard describe it that way other than myself. Even other myositis patients don't describe this way. But I have high arches but have been working from home over over 10 years . Listening to u, I'm wondering if this weak feeling in my thighs and knees? This burning sensation like I've been running but slowly walking? Wondering if bc I'm always wearing flip flops. I will start wearing shoes and inserts bc I literally came on here to search for those that prefer bpc or tb5000 and why. Have been taking bpc pills for a month and notice nothing. Hoping to get some relief in my thighs, knees and yes my shoulders too have started hurting where I can only extend overheard to a point then I feel as though tendons are being overstretched and piercing pain.

I gave these two a run about a year ago- bicep tendonitis, chronic. Didn't seem to do anything for me tbh. Could be the source, but I appear to be the odd man out. One of my viewers suggested using my peptide extender/thick oil preparation to reconstitute it- for slower release of bpc-157. I did, and injected the bicep in question- over night relief. And, this was just after training biceps- my right bi is sore from working out, did same workout on left side where I injected and don't even seem to have post workout pain. Some slight tenderness where the shot is. Anecdotal, but may be helpful to some. While tb-500 is long acting (in the system) bpc-157 is very short acting. Extending the time of contact with the area or even the life of bpc-157 in the body may be key for some of us low responders.

@@nialsawa5257 yes and no. If reconstituted in water, it will last days in the system and pass through/near target area. But, it will go "systemic", ie out of the target area, within minutes. A thick oil preparation would keep a constant "drip" releasing in the area for 12 hours plus. Whether or not this is necessary for full benefits, i don't know.

Hi. From my own experience, I know that the cryochamber is effective (3 minutes at a temperature of -110-130 degrees Celsius). To see its effectiveness, you must do it every day for 30 days. Then once a week. Try it and you will thank me later. If you enter the chamber and feel, apart from the cold, great pain in your joints, overcome it, this is normal. Cryotherapy helps with many problems. There are other methods: elements: magnesium combined with boron, omega 3 in doses of 20-30 grams (cannot be combined with a carbohydrate diet) .But cold is the best because thanks to it, anti-inflammatory processes occur automatically. My English is not good, sorry. Greetings from Poland

Please look into Adequan. I was literally unable to walk without a crutch.and was in tremendous pain. I was formerly very athletic with a birth defect called clasp knife syndrome, severe bone spurs of the first metatarsophalangeal joint from soccer, both knees and now my left hip. I now use Adequan - an injectable( sub q or IM) Polysulfated glycosaminoglycans - glycosamine/chondroitin type product, helps repair cartilage, also reduces inflammation. Approved for veterinary use. I was desperate to regain mobility and with research I found out that an identical drug is approved for humans in Europe. My dog was completely crippled, couldn’t get up. Now he runs up stairs. It’s extremely effective. Regularly used by rugby players and weight lifters In the UK. I’m not running up stairs but I am walking, able to do yoga, walking without issues. Arteparon is the human equivalent but I have no idea how to obtain it.

Instead of arch supports get toe spacers to space you toes out, especially your big toe, flat feet are the result of weak muscles, as you know using an arch support contributes to that weakness…if you are still having over pronation after being barefoot a lot, it means that your big toe is deformed to bending over toward the outside if your foot, and that allows to foot to over pronate inward…toes spacers will correct your big toe position, and then allow your arches to re-form from walking barefoot
