I've just done the same switch from M140 to M2C. Different beast!. I Miss a bit the toque of the B58 for everyday drive

Health to drive!!! Might be interesting to get your views on a Competition version when you get the chance to drive it! I have a 140i as a daily and would like the M2 but i also think I would miss the practicality of the hatch!

I came from a 240i to a M2C . The main difference is the handling and stability. However I would recommend the 140i/240i over a M2C if your just gonna drive it around town/ City.

Love the M2 man! How's the DCT compared the the ZF for a daily drive?

Interesting video mate, fascinated with your point about the DS2500 pads, I’ve bought front and rears from Williams Performance to have fitted soon but it seems the m lite forums are split on whether they’re suitable for road use and why they would be illegal if they are better pads than the OEM’s 🤔🤔🤔

Illegal for road use I’d say due to them not having a cold bite...they need some heat to get biting compared to stock which give you bite from cold

Exactly right! Also need to have a word with you about some CHANGES we can do to the M2!

You say out of the box for the track (M2) what if you do all those handling mods on the M140i then what one would you say?

Those 763m are replica or OEM? Anyway they look stunning in satin orbit grey, way better than black ones that everyone put in the m2's.

Let’s not forget that if you are going to track the M2 you’ll need to do the crank pulley as they fail.. £2200 on top of the extra 10-15k to buy the M2 of the same year mileage over the 240i etc

All I can say is that KZread doesn’t pay me anywhere enough to be full time or part time. I have 2 other jobs mate but I love hard work so if you’ve got another job going let me know 😆

I do love an M2, but the OG M2 is just not cutting it for me. Basically same interior as the 140, with an older designed engine and arguably a worse gearbox than the ZF8. The M2 Comp would be considered an upgrade in my eyes from the 140. But agree on the looks and handling improvements you get with an M2. Looking forward to overtaking you at the next trackday 🤣👌

Do both bro, reason why is that if mapped you’ll have a lot more usable power and when it comes selling or p/ex having an LSD makes it more favourable over one without 🙏🏽
