Try out the new Marshall JTM Studio 20 Combo. Can switch between 20w & 5w and comes with 12 inch Celestion creamback.

Got a HH one secondhand and will review that later in the year.
Given you have the Spark series of amps, a Blackstar would be good from the cheap amp side of things. I bought a used Blackstar V3 20 for 7k INR and I loved that decision (I am not sure if the seller had a regret like you did). It solved my problem of not needing another guitar interface while sounding good by itself.

Got a nice Belcat tube amp so scratched that tweed / crunch itch and will also get a proper cab for the Spark.
Hey no offence man !! But hey some of the classic metal tones were created by some sort of overdrive (SD-1 , ts9..) in front of a Marshall !! So ..
Sounds like you might have been happier with a Friedman amp. Another possibility for a cheaper, solid state amp could be an Orange. You won't get the variety of sounds a Katana will give you, but they do make great solid state amps

Ha.. Ha.. I believe, attenuation doesn't work as well as a smaller wattage amp.
Definitely go for the Katana 100 MK2... or better yet, the Katana Artist.
