Jamaica is a vibe. It's paradise on earth. American film star once described the island as more beautiful than any woman. It's my happy place❤

Another commenter said it, thank you for so eloquently expressing how so many of my family members and myself feels. I moved away in my early teens, I’m a grown woman now with so much accomplished and nothing fills my soul like being home. At one point I didn’t think I could move back because of cost of living but when I closed out the naysayers and actually did my research I knew it was doable. I’ll be moving back in a few years and I CANNOT WAIT!! I love my country, my people, my culture, even the stray dogs and cats running around in the neighborhood 😂😂. Anyway I could on but thank you for sharing and best wishes to you.

This is so beautifully done! I maybe biased because some of your experiences are similar to my first return after 10 years in Canada also subsequent trips...the St. Ann is also my area..although i grew up more in the hills...near Moneague...please keep us posted with more experiences

What a load of propaganda. Jamaica is a nice place brother but you are over doing it. No insult to Jamaica I would say the same thing about any other country that you go about over dramatizing in this way and not even using your own natural speaking voice. It makes me wonder if there is a shred of realness still existing in this world

I appreciate your perspective and understand where you're coming from. I didn't mean to come off as overly dramatic or insincere. Jamaica, like any place, has its positives and negatives, and I was just trying to highlight the good aspects. It's easy to get carried away sometimes, especially when you're passionate about something. However this is my experience, born and raised in the Jamaican countryside for 16 years, against the backdrop of 30 years living in London England.
