Hey there Danny, I'm building, right in your footsteps here.. I got a great deal, on a set of Bob Drake, shorties, (I 🤔 think Headman makes the Drake ones, anyway), I'm doing a 347 stroker, and AOD. Love your content, keep them coming...

We all go thru this Danny, it's the way of the hobby. Doug Thorley tri y headers might work if you want long tube.

Been following your progress on your 66, it is going to be a great car when you finish it. Keep up the great work. What is the summit part number for the shorty headers that you ended up using?

Hey bud, thanks for the support 👍🏻... HED-88406 is the part number for the headders, and there's a video with those headers on my channel..😃
i have put some patriot tri y headers on and i have put the clutch cable against the oil pan side and with the clutch cable there wasd a bracket included for bolting on the oilpan so the cable was pulled a litlle from the headers but i used heatshieldproducts 1 a sleeve to put over the clutch cable 2 a sort of blanket to put around the tubes . i have now 1500 miles and clutchcable is holding up. i have seen other vids and when the pipes almost touches the pipes the internal plastic will melt in the cable so you should also put heatshields around it
