Gambling is purely about mathematics - nothing more, nothing less. To get a true picture of Vegas, you have to see how the gambling has changed over the years, and it is at an all-time low. The casino’s greed is unbelievable these days. These days it is almost mathematically impossible to win. So nowadays, I play mathematically to lose as little as possible, yet gain as many freebies and offers from the properties that I love. If you’d like to talk numbers and strategy, I’d love to talk to you. You can tweak the gambling that you do, so you can still get the vegas experience, but tilt things a little bit more in your favor. You won’t win, but you’ll lose far less, play longer if you want to, and get more freebies and discounts. I’m sure you might know some of this already. Thank you for the insightful videos!
I agree with you entirely, only use the slot that speaks to you somehow 😂. I prefer slots and its relaxed, at your own pace. $1 slots for me off $100 bill. That money I consider gone, but if I double my money that is the point I cash out. I then await the next slot to call to me which usually takes hours!

Doubling-up and then subsequently bolting is a solid strategy. Live to play another day, or hour 😎
James you are a very smart man! Things you can’t learn in school reality of life great video again!
Wow never even bothered to think of how much sodium is in French onion soup! Just enjoy it !

Speaking of OG subscribers...
I appreciate the rambling 😊.
My game of choice is Texas Holdem poker. My first game of choice was blackjack. I played a lot of blackjack at Treasure Island by the Twin Cities in Minnesota back in 2003 to 2006. It was very fun but I realized that the more I played the more I lost. I recommend poker because it is a very social game and because there is a way to improve your skills.

All Wisconsin small town living is the same 😌
I go to treasure island twice a year for work (big furniture show there) It's a shame the buffet still isn't open. Great Casino!
Oh man- no caffeine or sodium?! Luckily you get to travel and see a lot of the U.S. so I guess you can’t complain! Great vid. Safe travels.

I knew you were a sales guy
I knew it! I caught subtle hints of that Wisconsin accent on your previous vids and that was what I guessed. :)
Sooo you basically grew up in my hometown area 🤓 cool!
Im a roulette person. The last time i was in Vegas around November I started with 2k ended my session with 15k. Started out playing 1 dollar chip then go up to 5 then $25chips

@@khaanhdang8715 playing inside numbers from $2k to $15k is going to raise your THEO so high that any casino will want you there.
I also don't gamble for all the reasons you mentioned. So I'm no expert. I have been told that most modern Vegas blackjack pays out at a 6:5 ratio instead of a 3:2 ratio. So it's not even the same game odds wise that has traditionally been played there. I think you have the right attitude of picking a cool looking slot machine and enjoying operating it for a while. If you win that's a plus.

6:5 is unbeatable long term. If you can't find a 3:2 game, it's not worth playing.
You shouldn't eat steak in any restaurant. Restaurants no longer get the best meat; people will pay $55 for supermarket beef so they've stopped buying USDA prime beef. I didn't find 1 place in vegas that specified USDA prime; and if it just says "Prime", it's not USDA prime.

Prime at Bellagio and Old Homestead at Caesars-but you're talking $85 plus for a steak. Lol.
I play slots. The more special effects the better. Sharknado is my favorite. I play around $100
Casino take from slots is usually around 80 percent...
I normally do craps, but I do love me some 1 dollar Wheel or Fortune.

Gordon is Scottish or Welsh or something. He’d give you a piece of his mind for calling him English. ;)
I like that you try to order interesting menu items and give an honest detailed review about everything. I like the idea of dropping a bill into a slot but I think you should switch it up and put $100 in instead of $50 but if you win $50 you stop. The high limit slots are boring visually so it would be better if you picked a random slot in the normal area that looks exciting but please no buffalo like everyone else shows

What is the infatuation with Buffalo? I don't get it, but people rave about that game and I always see those seats filled like no other slot.

I prefer playing slots & play roulette once in a while. 🎰 My 2 all time favorites are Cleo & Pink Diamond. I only play high limit slots starting at $20/spin up to $40. It’s pure entertainment, I don’t expect to win and consider my money gone before I even start playing 😀
Trying to guess which town you're from. Osceola, Somerset...?
Getting off caffeine is not easy on the body or the mind.
I had to cool.out on slots so occasionally I will go bet horses at Canterbury my money goes further and I don't feel like a complete loser. 😆
How much was that bloody Mary at the hex Also can you take it to go or do you need a drink at the hex

It was around $45. Yes - you can take it to go.
Last time I gambled I was at the hard roc. I through down 700 on Askren vs masvidal. I lost. Nunes was on the same card. I knew if I put it on her I would win. But I'm such an Askren guy. Just now realized both of you are Wisconsin guys. I hope he beats Paul
@Coolist

That was a devastating loss for Askren. Betting on him in that fight wasn't illogical at all. Masvidal, who is a beast, caught lightning in a bottle and enjoyed the best knockout in ufc history. Askren vs Paul is so interesting 👀
Does that still hold true? I've seen you eat a few Steaks in LV. Just today, at Crocksfords :)
Loved the location of PARIS, didn't enjoy the vibe. Had much more fun at The Mirage. The Paris Pool had nothing going for it.
I play the low end of high limit slots as well generally $5-$12.50 a spin multiple times a week most the time and I've lost a decent amount of money but it's pretty entertaining I look at it the same way as you though I'll usually put 200-300 in and if I win great if I don't whatever. You are right though casinos are 100% rigged against you I think the best way if you Wana win at a casino is go maybe once or twice a year tops as smaller sample sizes in casinos can have very unpredictable outcomes especially on slots. It's when you consistently gamble that you can expect a loss as casinos bank on people that never stop gambling
The only profitable casino game is poker. As long as you play VS weaker competition, skills outweigh luck over time.
Poker or baccarat with some dice & $1 slots if I’m up 😏💥👊🏼👊🏼
You don't gamble. You don't win.
