How ironic this video shows up on related videos for me today when i tried going back to play some MW3. What was I thinking?

I totally agree with what you said about the maps and the spawning being terrible. What makes the game un-fun for me is the fact that people only ever use about the same six guns in every single game.

You could say that about nearly all cods though, most people will always use the 'better' guns, I seen one person who had over 30,000 kills with the FAMAS on Blops 1 lol.

Thank you for uploading this. Honestly I wasted my time playing Call of Duty. I have been questioned this before, "What do you get from playing COD?" I had no answer. The fustration of losing, being on a bad team, going up against people who cheat and hack 24/7. It's not worth it and after seeing this video you helped me and possibly a lot of us consider not to play Call of Duty that much. But don't get me wrong it's a good game just not the best. I might still play it from time to time thogugh.

So much respect for you Bruce, this game is horrible, lets just hope Vahn comes through and BO2 is fun. Great vid!

Great video. What makes you a better commentator than anyone else is that your a real person that understands the frustration that everyone goes through when playing this video game. You also don't pretend your gods gift to modern warfare and give us the illusion your invincible. Thank u for posting, your an amazing player.

I decided to watch this for nostalgic purposes. And honestly I felt that pain. I had 5 50-kill TDM games in my MW3 career. I lost 4 of them! How does that fucking happen??!! Hell, I probably lost half the games I got MOABs in. Fucking ridiculous

I agree with Xcal, when i played Cod4 i never got angry at that game. When i got MW2 & MW3 those games brought out the rage in me

just stoped playing games for 6 months,focusing on school. now i am thinking about getting back into xbox,give it another try.and try to get sponserd again. i just wanted to share all this only beccause i felt like it was the right time too. ty..

I actually had a lot of fun on MW2, and later MW3, but 2 things made me not just quit them, but XBox Live altogether. One, the sheer number of hackers and cheaters was RIDICULOUS, and XBox and Infinity Ward refused to do anything about it. And it made the games absolutely unplayable. And 2nd, I got in contact with several Live Enforcement Team members, and asked them what I could do about the situation. I was told to record as many 1-minute clips of people like God Mode hackers as I could, and upload them to KZread. So I did that. I spent 6 months and countless hours making and uploading and documenting tag names. I sent every link to XBox. Sounds good, right? Helping them do their job? Well, one day months down the line, I go to get on to play...and I've been banned from XBox Live, for life. No explanation. No nothing. I appeal it, call XBox Live, send emails, do online chats...everything. I was finally told that I was reporting too many players...after being TOLD to do that by THEIR people. Now, I could have changed my IP, bought another account, and gotten back on. But I had had 5 months left on my previous Gold card, and lost it, and I didn't see the point of paying my hard-earned money to a company that refused to fix anything and then banned the legit players for doing their job at their request. FUCK XBOX, SIDEWAYS, WITH A BARBED WIRE DILDO.

this game was designed so EVERYONE can play and win no matter how good you are. So even if think you can win in every game, you just can't. Yes you can get a row of wins if you stick to a game plan but it doesn't work all the time. Believe me you don't need skill to play Call Of Duty games. Having a familiarity with the mechanics of the game helps though.

Patrik Nordlund All first FPS don't really need skill. If you want to play lets play Guns in real life hunting each other down in real life is real skill now. Mods are the equivalent to an professional athletes banned substance abuse. If you want true technical skill play me on Street Fighter 4. Not some untechnical shooter were you just simply aim and shoot.

i dont think xcal was the very first person ever to upload cod4 gameplay but he definitely was among the first and was part of the group that made it popular. i still remember watching the first "lolcommentary" he posted back in '08. Shit has changed a lot since then, but bruce is still the same and that's one reason i really like him

Xcal was the first to record gameplay. Blame Truth was the first to do commentary over gameplay. Xcal quickly followed as Blame Truth suggested it to him.

Yeah the first video he has still on is CoD 4, so I was wondering if it was very long before that. Quite a bit of time considering most gameplay channels are 1-2 years old by now.

On his current main channel (xcalizorz) the oldest video he has on it was uploaded on July 24, 2008, the same day he created his channel xcalizorz. The video is entitled CoD4- TDM is Fun. The video description says "Not really... repost lolz". SO, I'd assume that he had videos before that but I'm not certain on which channel they were on. Maybe his brother's channel (thee3nd)?

one in awhile I go back to MW3 and play a game or two and by the time 2 games are over my voice is hoarse with yelling at the other team, but more than the other team, my own teammates. Now I play Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2, and Grand Theft Auto 4.

thats why people have to take a step back and realize that their a playing a videogame to have fun, not to stress yourself and get angry

Many of the problems you've listed I believe are inherent to the Call of Duty titles, whether it's IW or Treyarch. It's a game the requires almost no gun skill, but rather an ability to guess spawns, trap the other players, and pile on air support. Anybody can pick up a controller and start getting easy kills with any AR. Therefore, you've got people respawning constantly and that results in some inevitably bad spawns and unfair match ups.

I was playing infected right before the game started in ten sec before the game I hopped up so high fell into a crack under the glitch stage, and watch every one else getting 7 Moab in one game with 700 minutes and over 400 killes? Wtf?

Yeah, so true. Just the other day I think I went something like 47-5, and the second to best person on my team other than myself went something like 8-24. And that's only talking about a TDM I had, don't even get me started on domination or other objective game types :s

the main gamebreaking thing for me was the map design. I could deal with deathstreaks, lag comp, op weapons and perks, imbalances, quickscopers, TEAM MATCHMAKING, etc.

And I like the personality you put into your videos, I like your attitude towards stuff in general because I'm kinda similar in a way, but still different in many aspects. That's why my top 3 commentators are 1) seamus 2) sp00n and 3) you, xcal. And I watch a damn lot of commentators :p

nice on the 2nd vid u use the support uav and counter uav spam when i know im playing with bad kids i use that method alot.

Don't feel alone about playing games when you were a teen. I went through that same phase and loathe it every day, I was just a dumb kid and didn't know any better. Although I was no where near as bad as some of the kids today, cripes.

Yup. Striker and PP90M1 being two of them. Myself, I stick with the ACR, MP7, M60 (LMG), AS50/MSR (yes I use 2 different snipers, I swich them out), and KSG-12 (don't ask why I listed all my primaries)

Xcal was one of the best players on battlefield 1942. I am sure he won't have a problem on BF3.

But Black ops 2 how happy I am that game came out and and how refreshing it is to have fun while playing a cod after waiting for about a year for this game 2 come out and for me to finally be playing the game I love.

Even for tactical players (like myself) it can be frustrating. Deathstreaks, OP guns, lag compensation. Things you can't control. The game can be really fun some of the time, but when you throw those things in, there are times when it's extremely frustrating. I honestly believe everyone has gotten more frustrated in MW3 than any other CoD. Just my experience and watching others experiences.

Support was the problem with this game. It bascially allowed one really good slayer to run with objective players and but still get six sets of killstreaks. Support streaks turned decent teams into amazing teams. Not to mention that with support and people obtaining points for shooting down your streaks if you didn't open with killstreaks you would never be able to get them up.

i feel the same way, for me i tend to stay with the 1v1 or free for all type of games. they are a lot more fun.

Idk why but on MW3 1 out of 3 or so games I go +25 but on the others i go anywhere from even to -12.Idk why I have such a schizo skill bounce but I do.I run some games beating out 2nd by alot then im mid on the board or lower(never bottom 3 atleast) and it annoys me.It doesnt have to do with the maps or the players.Ive played against the same ppl I just dominated and get owned or I play the same map I owned a hour ago and get owned.Thats annoying to me coz I cant figure out why.

Yea I hate the skill gap at times, beacause ill be doing great, but still loosing because my team is getting thrashed.
