That's the kind of friendship they have. Lily cares a lot about Sykkuno and she knows that he is cappable to do whatever he want, so she acts as his main support in life and gives him the love and support he needs to remember that he matters and people loves him even when he do not notices it.

To anyone, including Sykkuno, who thinks nobody is attracted to them: People are attracted to you, they just never admit it. There might not be many of them, and maybe you haven't even met them, but in my experience, humans hold a lot back that they never speak about. Source: My girlfriend and I thought the same thing three years ago.

Awesome. I'm glad SOMEBODY brought that up... When I was in school, I had ONE crush and all others were ignored. She was AMAZING and all of that. She didn't see me the same way so we never talked after I confessed to her. I couldn't get myself to NOT focus on her, ALL THROUGH the rest of school. And then near graduation while I had people signing my yearbook, one of the other girls expressed an interest while signing my book. I had ZERO CLUE that she had liked me because I was so hyper-focussed on the one who didn't want anything to do with me. But it was too late at that point because she managed to get into a college in a different state altogether. I felt ASHAMED of myself for not having looked around at all after being rejected so thoroughly by my crush. This other girl was just as AMAZING but in different ways (because we are all different). I had HUGE blinders on the whole time. I didn't feel worthy of anybody at the time anyway. Still, SOMEBODY was interested but I just DID NOT see that coming at all, totally out of left field for me. So, my advice is, at least LOOK at people around you. Look them in the face, make eye contact. Smile (gently, not like a demon). Watch their body language. Talk to EVERYBODY, whether guys or girls. I know this is difficult for many people, but listen, I am STILL an Introvert but I am not as PAINFULLY SHY as I used to be. It CAN BE grown out of. It takes time, yes. But you STILL HAVE to learn how to be Human. If EVERYBODY turned Hermetic, the Human Race will fail.
