Celibate for three years here. Casual sex brings about confused energy because you pick up other people’s energy in a way that is meant to be intimate.

From the music tv social media and even just seeing a billboard lust is being promoted. I'm seeing comments of people going 10 YEARS celibate. We get bombarded by lust so much you almost feel lame and inferior for not having sex. Great topic very self reflective and inspiring I'm feeling the peaceful vibes ✌

Though I am a woman and maybe it’s considered a whole different thing I can say that - I have Been celibate for 6years (consecutively) No sexual interactions , no masturbation.. And even though I am certainly a very sensual being.. (even inhaling is a sensual act) Celibacy has felt so wonderful And in no way restrictive . As a woman I’ve experienced just how very much I’ve been objected to the lust of men And as flattering as it may seem to some women.. As beautiful and deep sexuality can be as well intimacy starts with our transparency to spirit And truly honoring each other - beyond compulsive notions.. that is romantic . And not only that It allows us to cultivate friendships Where depth and sincerity are at the core . Thank you Beautiful you this is one very special sharing and also quite a surprising video... . . . may your voice inspire the men of today’s world Thank you thank you thank you

After being sexually active since I was 17, I began practicing celibacy in my early 30's. The first run was about 1 year, the second was 3. It gave me so much insight into my motivations and tendencies in relationships as well as how to read the intentions of others. A lot of healing takes place when you give your body, mind, and spirit the space to discover what true alignment means for you. It gives you a stronger and clearer sense of where your energetic field ends and another begins.

I think at some point in my early 20's (I'm 27 now), I convinced myself that I needed to be sexually desirable to men to have true worth. And I just spiraled into this horrible pattern that attached ALL of my self worth to it. It was miserable. I was miserable. Until I forced myself to admit that despite becoming the object I thought I needed to be, the fulfillment I thought it would give me never appeared. It was a lie. And it hurt to know I'd been living the lie. So I stopped. The men I involved myself with, I basically said "I'm sorry, but I'm moving on to a different part of my life, and I wish you luck with yours". And that was it. And I haven't sought that sexual approval since 2019. I turned inward and had to ask myself, "okay, so now that you're done asking others how they feel about you, how do YOU feel about you? What do YOU enjoy? Who are you, really?" Now, it's up and down, and that's just life. But I can tell you, I don't miss what I was doing before. Celibacy has been something of a gift to me, and when the time comes and I know it's truly right, it will change. But right now I know it's what I need to do to help me.

As a 24 year old young woman, I am starting today. My last “relationship” had me horrrrible in my head. Negative thoughts. Asking “why.” Thinking, the sex is great and I’m a great woman. What’s wrong with me? Why doesn’t he want me? ..... I had to stop that. Honestly.. I know I’m wonderful when it comes to sex, and that’s exactly why I’ll be starting today. I can’t give out my energy anymore. I have to make sure I’m wanted for ME and NOT what I can do.

In my spiritual journey, it was never a plan to let go of as much as I have; giving up alcohol and cannabis, giving up meat and focusing on a more plant-based diet, and practicing celibacy. Once opening up my heart and spirit to the positivity of abstinence from temptation, my chakras aligned, my pineal gland was expanded, and my kundalini was awakened... ALL which I had NEVER knew as much about until going through it! I practiced celibacy for over 9 months, ended it once, and now it has been over 6 months since I have felt the urge to break it. The quality of my life has improved so much, I almost forget I’m currently going through a divorce! Sending blessings of love, light, and support to ALL who need it in their growth! ❤️

I'm currently in a relationship and was celibate for 2 years prior, and I absolutely want to go back to being celibate. Idk how my partner will feel, but I don't want sex anymore. I crave the peace and freedom I get from celibacy. Sex is not a need for me, and I find it draining and anxiety inducing and I would honestly rather not have it.

💜 your honesty about this truly helps. Celibacy is the way to go but thank you for mentioning the fear part didn't recognize it.

This is a lovely message. For me, celibacy is not challenging. My truest desire is to reconnect with my highest power and to elevate my essence as a creator. I’m pulling this energy within myself. Self mastery is key. And listening to our intuition and wisdom.
