I bought a terabyte sized one. No way am I returning this thing.

The movie 2D and 3D, video, picture, 180 3D, along with the implementation, the lack of need for controllers, is all good enough to justify the ownership. Anything else that comes is just icing.

Never a thought about returning it.

I couldn't live without my Quest 3 anymore. I use it every day, for hours. I play games on my Xbox GP, VR games, fitness, use it for productivity or just watch yt videos. MR headsets are so practical. Can't wait to try the Vision Pro!

To be fair I wouldn’t want to give up my quest 3 either. Like you mentioned, games, social, fitness are awesome on it

Definitely keeping mine it’s incredible the only issue is the price but I knew that going in. The display, hand and eye tracking is incredible and the seamless checks the bill of what I expect from Apple. Definitely a device for the enthusiast that sees themselves using vr/ar for the long term in the Apple ecosystem.

I’m keeping mines as well. I’m not stupid I know Apple is gonna release even more mind blowing apps on the device.

Probably will never have Google Earth VR on it though. That is mind blowing on Quest headsets.

Huge 3D Bluray guy as well! Never managed to find one of the OLED 3D TVs though😢 This is absolutely the best way to watch 3D movies outside of maybe an IMax Laser projector. It beats out any of my local RealD screens without question. That, and the fact that there are a bunch of 3D movies on the Vision Pro that never got released anywhere else! Encanto, Luca, Little Mermaid, Elemental, No Time to Die, Ben Hur, and a handful of other 3D movies can only be seen on the Vision Pro.

I've not seen anyone make a better case for keeping the AVP.

The more i use it the more i love it... still love my quest but absolutely never used that as much as my AVP

AVP has made my 83 inch OLED collect dust. It is my primary way to consume content now.

At this point 4K 3D movies would be the only reason I would consider getting a Vision Pro in the future.

The AVP has made me want to get into shooting 8k60 180 3D. Luckily Canon has a solution for that with their R5C camera and 5.2mm f2.8 Dual Fisheye 3D VR Lens!

Yea I wanna see so many things in 180 3d now lol. Can’t afford a 5-6000$ setup on camera like that right now but maybe in the future. Be awesome to record all my adventures that way

@@UrGamingTechie Yeah, it's a bit of a heavy lift for sure, but honestly, it's not anywhere nearly as expensive as I would have thought to replicate Apple's video capture. Like seriously, it's at least an entire zero less than I thought it would be. Of course, I plan to use the R5C for a lot more than just VR video, so it's really only the cost of the lens that's special here. And I bought mine used out of Japan, so that wasn't too bad either.

Would you recommend the base model or the 500 gig one ?

I likely will be returning mine, I cant justify right now to keep it when all I would be using it for is a media consumption device with the lack of other killer applications. I think I may buy it again in the future. I will wait it out and see what gets released in the next 3-6 months.

Yea no one should have bought it this early if they wanted “1 killer application” but I have plenty of multiple things that are great uses that make it worth it like described in this video.

Sounds like the goal post keep changing lol. First it was…wait two weeks till the honeymoon phase is over, then it was 1-2 months, now it’s 6-12 lol. Maybe just realize that people like different things, and it’s got nothing to do with a honeymoon phase. And in 6 months vision is 2.0 will almost be here, adding a host of new features, so I’ll be hyped then, then now lol

@@UrGamingTechie Sure if it makes u happy why not (even tho i heard its bad for watching P*rn, as the use of your hands for other "things" doesnt comply and no real VR p*rn is available either which is a minus in my book but that is just me) but in august 2025 Vision 2 will supposedly be released and Vision 1 might be outdated aswell.

I returned mine on Saturday. 3-D movies seem like they’re 20 frames per second terrible.

Well since theirs no 4K 3d blu-rays that exists. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time. I would like to see a detailed video from someone directly comparing 3D Blu-rays to the 3D films on Vision Pro.
