Pikmin 3 has a balance of challenge and easiness so I would recommend that one to play first

They kinda suck in pikmin 4 unfortunately, mainly due to the much lower amount of shortcuts they take

Yeah, I heard they got nerfed in that way. But at least they have some shortcuts
