Cesar is just simply the greatest and doesn't judge about the dogs breed and I like that.A lot of people judge a dog's breed and that's like saying people judge other people by there race(black,American,Latino,ect) I Love Him 😍💖💖💖

I love pit bulls too & in my town we have pit bulldogs on the K-9 unit for our police department. Also in Indianapolis we have an Halloween costume parade for pit bulls & other dogs. Never had any problems either. My Miss. Elsa is a rescue & I have never seen a dog love a child as she does my 3 yr old granddaughter. In fact the dog lays on my bed looking out the window waiting for Kira to show up.

I absolutely love pit bulls. I've always wanted one since I was in high school. I finally got the chance to get one in October from the animal shelter. I wouldn't trade him for anything!

People tend to identify with animals. Often a person and their favorite resemble each other physically or by shared character traits. Cesar is very much like the Pit Bull breed, not the biggest dog around but certainly one of the toughest. Smart, tenacious, powerful, a born warrior but with a deep tender side that is sometimes overlooked. Although I'm a cat person (love tigers,lions and panthers) if I wanted a dog I would not hesitate to get Pit Bull or a Rottweiler. It's not the breed it's the owner that determines if a dog will become a loyal loving protector or a dangerous monster.

Aeval K I totally agree. But, like me, if you don't know much about the breed you'll put yourself & your dogs in harms way. Back in May my husband & I bought 2 female pit bulls. They're sisters & have been absolutely wonderful. I didn't & still don't know how to train them properly (but I am researching & trying to find a trainer in my area) & in the span of 2 months, my dogs have attacked each other. Camille goes for the throat, face, head. Carmella goes for the legs. I was told that is a very bad sign but them fighting is a bad sign! We have them separated to ensure their safety & our until we can get the help we DESPERATELY need. If anyone has ANY advice, please feel free to respond! I feel horrible for not taking better measures before jumping in & getting these beautiful girls & now they're getting angry 🙁

I think I've seen every season of the Dog Whisperer, not so much for the dogs but for Cesar's amazing wisdom. It really was about helping humans which in turned helped their dogs. Over the many episodes your problem has been highlighted. In fact a least one dealt specifically with the two battling pit bulls situation. As you're looking for hands on help but it's not here today, perhaps getting one of his books or teaching series can help you safely cope until you can find the proper trainer. It would be worth it, something is definately triggering their behavior, but pinpointing what it is can be difficult. I feel he's the best at understanding dogs and even more importantly, understanding humans and how the human/dog interaction works for good or bad. It would still be worth learning from Cesar even after securing a trainer as he teaches how have a happy, healthy relationship with dogs. I hope you get the help you need and the dogs become balanced. But if I may say, no offense intended, feeling horrible is not helping you or the dogs. We all make mistakes, you're doing your best to fix the problem. It's not like you're abusive or deliberately cruel. You care and that means so much. Too many pit bull owners have the dogs as a source of pride or violent entertainment. If you have the stomach for it research what people do to them. Although you may have jumped in too soon they're blessed to have you not those people. Putting aside guilt won't hurt you or them, it can actually help. Your tension and stress has the potential to exacerbate an already difficult situation.

Yes I've seen the epsisode pertaining to two pit bulls & several more of his & they've all been extremely helpful. All of the advice I've gotten through social media has actually been the most helpful with my girls! I have always been extremely overly anxious & actually had to see my physician & get put on a mild anti anxiety medication which has helped. We've been excercising more & have been on a steady schedule for a while but with my new job, the lines got blurred somewhere but I am happy to say that we are all back on track & my girls haven't had an episode since a couple of days before I posted that comment! It is really hard to remember they're dogs until they "act" like dogs, if that makes any sense. We got them out of a very bad home, sadly, & have just now gotten to speak with their parents owners about their lineage. Unfortunately both mom & dad were used to fight... I am 1000% against fighting any animals so that was heartbreaking but we got a better understanding of what they were dealing with, the natural instincts that come along with that type of background. I've researched, spent hundreds of dollars but the most useful tool was Ceasars videos & the advice &I support from people like you! I don't take offense to anything you've said, I am very appreciative of any feedback bc it helps me to better understand how to help my dogs. Thanks so much again! Camille & Carmella are now on the road to happiness &a a beautiful life! ❤️

I'm so happy it's getting better for the girls and especially for you. Cesar always said the dog you get is the dog you need. Unfortunately it's not always easy to face what we really need.But your dedication and love sets you above most who accept such a difficult challenge. Thanks for sharing your experience and letting all who read about them know everything is going in a positive direction. I always used to have such a negative view on pitbulls and was scared of them. I really saw them as dangerous and awful dogs. All of that changed when I started a new job and began working with them. They are amazing beautiful dogs. My view on them has completely changed. Pitbulls just need to be given a chance. Media needs to stop singling them out and only focusing on negative stories involvingving the breed.

same, I hated pitbulls. Moved from South Florida where they are banned in Dade to Pensacola/Milton area in the country. Decided I need a dog as it's so boring up here. Wanted to rescue on, but wanted a GS or Lab. Seen a 6 week Pit/Bulldog mix and they are soon cute as a puppy , the head tilt. Best decision ever! Always by my side and loves kids..90 lbs 1 yr 1 month now...

A family friend was killed by one. Sure, some of them are sweethearts, but some of them are ticking timebombs. All you have to do is Google: child mauled or child bitten and nine out of ten times it's a Pitbull. Now why is that? Not because of some conspiracy against a breed.

My puppy pitbull the sweetest, most gentle amazing breed I encountered. He survived parvo at only 9 weeks old and he is so brave and protective over our family yet would never even nibble on my kids. He knows when my kids are sick and does everything to make them smile from rolling over, to trying to hear their heartbeat when laying down. He is just amazing.

I love them too! I've always had one or more since my teens, 40 years later-yep, still my favorite. Thanks for your videos and sharing your knowledge.

I’m a bulldog lover too I hade a old English bulldogie who was so awesome and she loved to swim. Scary looking but super sweet. 16 years with us and we still talk about her all the time. I just got a new puppy last month. A exotic bully 6 months old. We are still bonding and building trust. He’s come so far in the short time but I needed some professional insight. I took him away from everything he knew, introducing him to a unfamiliar environment. It took 2 weeks of being calm and patient before he started to show trust. I been super gentle and respectful, not picking him up or tricking him. We have a 3year old bully who’s been amazing with him. The Puppy follows RUGERS lead. Went on our first successful walk today. Had to take the leash off for the first half

I recently had to put my dog (pitbull) down... She had tumors in her bladder and must have been in a lot of pain according to the vet. Sadly she never showed she was in pain so it came as a bit of a shock when they called me that they were going to put her down. She was such a sweetheart all her life and I'll never regret having her in my life.

Thanks to Cesar I love Pitbulls too. They're extremely loving and gentle. I'd adopt one.

Rescued my boy from the shelter a little over 2 months ago. He was 9 mos old and that boy is bonded to me already! I've taught him sit, down, stay, wait, shake and fetch. When I set his food bowl down, he doesn't touch it until I say "okay". We've got a long way to go, though... his recall is sketchy, especially around other dogs or people and he still pulls on the leash, though that is getting a lot better.

Best dogs I've ever had. Wish they could live as long as me ❤🐶

Ever since meeting my first pitbull 4 years ago, I've fallen in love. I now have 2, and educate everybody about them! Since then even my parents in law have gotten pitties! Proud pitbull mom💕

Owners who don't know the breed is a more clear answer. If people learn about the breed they are getting, they can prevent attacks on humans and animals.

honestly I think pit bulls are the best breed of dog. They are my favorite breed because, they are so misunderstood and just so loving and loyal. My best friend has 5 pit bulls, 3 at her moms 2 at her dads and every time I go over to her house one of them has to be on my lap just being a love bug so honestly pits are the best breed in my opinion.

I agree, I had two beloved cats and came across a shelte rpittie that scored the top grade on her behavioral but was out of time bc of space, so I adotped her to save her life and planne don rehoming her bc of my cats..I did a ton of researcha nd was extremely cautious and incrementally introduced them safely over six weeks and not only was she gentle , she became like a mother ot my cats...5 years later, a large male brindle aslo great behavioral but out of time, so I adopted form shelter, and sure enough, he is a gentle giant as well. Loves cats, chihuahuas, etc, both don;t even react if another dog tries to bite them, that' how gentle they are, they are so wrongly maligned and broadbrushed when they are sadly the most abused and victimized. I think they are the most sweet natured of dogs which is why it's so tragic that they are so abused by horrible humans and then people blame the victims instead of the perpetrators

I think pit bulls are fine. I know my older sister had one and it was the most laid back dog. . .the kids grew up with it - climbed all over it, laid on it, and the dog was happy as long as it was in the centre of attention. I personally wouldn't mind having one myself, except that I don't feel they're really suitable for colder climates like I live in. (I could be wrong - but they've got seriously SHORT coats, and no undercoat so I don't see how they would be!) I'm sure people have them up here, but I am not sure I'd want to deal with it.

Hello Mr Millan, I love this Breed very much, claro!!!!!! If I had a Garden, House or own Appartement I would have a Staffy, Pitty of COURSE for sure. But I live in a House with 23 Appartement's on the 3 Floor/ Etage, near City, without a Alivator 2 Rooms and in Germany you have to pay a lot of Tax if you want have this Breed's in a Household and some Secure Companies doesn't want to "secure'" this kind of Breed's. And some other Problems. You can't travel with this Breeds to some special Countries. That's why I was choosen my favorite Chihuahua. Very different I know, but for ME Perfect. We all the time in Germany have a very bad and cold winter for a long time dark outside wet windy snowy rainy cold so a Chihuahua is more easy to handle than a powerful Breed which needs a lot of walking for hours to be relaxed and happy. BUT it depence on Lifestyle you as a Person have. All the Parks in Germany having a Forbidden Schild" in Front of the Entrance Dog's have to be on the Leash. I'm happy with my Chihuahua 💘💓💓and we all get older💗💞💕💗💖❣️❣️🤣 Greetings if I would live in a Sunshine State or in the South everything is happens. guys, I have a question about etiquette or rules in the dogpark. I have Labrador mixed Pyrenees age 1 year this month, and he loves to play with balls & tugging, he is not aggressive & not possessive. When I play in the park, sometimes some other dogs also play with the ball or the rope and normally its fine because my dog knows the other dogs since he was puppy, however sometimes some dogs (new dogs) get possessive. In that case is it my fault for taking out the balls or rope and play with my dog or actually the new dogs' owner should train their dogs. Thanks

Bad press is a big reason pit bulls have a bad reputation. I worked in an ER for a few years and we had dozens of dog attacks come into the ER, and not one was a pit bull. Chow's were the most common, but not a single pit bull attack. If you watch the news stations you'll see, "Pit bull attacks XYZ person", but for any breed other than a pit bull, you usually only see something about a dog bite or attack with no breed attached, so the negative press is causing much of the negative hysteria. I've only been hurt (slightly) by two pit bulls. The first was when my brother and I were visiting the owner of two pit bulls and I was playing and loving on the younger dog, not much out of the puppy phase and he jumped up on the couch and licked the side of my face so hard it pulled a muscle in my neck. He was a happy dog and not aggressive, they are just a powerful breed of dog. The other was when my wife, dog and I were in the street after our neighbor's pit bull got out and ran out to us to meet and greet our dog and get some affection from us. The owner came over to get her and we just sat there talking and loving on the dogs. The other pit bull was in the woman's back yard in a fence running back and forth barking and rushing the gate repeatedly. The pit bull wasn't aggressive, he just saw our dog and his sibling getting love and affection while he was fenced in and he was jealous and wanted to play too. I was sitting on the ground petting the first pit bull when the other finally hit the gate hard enough to force it open and it made a bee-line towards me. I stayed where I was and when the pit bull got about 5-10 feet from me it launched itself into the air and rotated 90 degrees and slammed into my chest, knocking me down. He didn't do anything aggressive, he just wanted to be loved on so I was just laughing, and when I sat back up the pit bull was sitting in my lap with its tail wagging and tongue hanging out, and you could see it written all over his face, "OK, it's my turn, love on me and pet me next!"

Bull sharks also "react" and me recognizing that they are the most aggressive species of shark doesn't make me hate them. People are well aware that hippos are the most aggressive animal on earth but people still love them. I don't see how pitbull owners can't just recognize the fact that pitbulls are statistically more prone to attack then any other powerful breed of dog. You don't see these attack statistics from dobermans or rottweilers for a reason. You can't just say oh well the dog was abused when that is true for any dog breed. Pitbull attacks far outweigh any other powerful breeds attacks every year you can't just say it's the owner when that's not a unique variable to the pit bull. If you put all powerful dog breeds under the same conditions you will still get more attacks from pitbulls.

Cesar Millan i had a problem with my neighbor's dog that used to be aggressive towards me shes a lab, just like the one that bited you on the hand and sent you to the hospital, and i finally got the hang of it, shes now nice to me and i visit her 4 times a week since her neighbor never feeds her, i feed her all the time

dragonaspect26 Apathy. In Apathetic and Lazy owners who don't give their Dogs enough ordinance and try to domesticate the Wrong Breeds around the Wrong People,Peers and House Pets. Labs aren't good around Tykes and they DON'T like other Pets either. And No, its certain breeds improperly raised that turn on people and other Dogs. Someone has a higher chance of being attacked by Chihuahua,Lab,Chow, Presa Canario and Poodle than a Pitbull Terrier.

Tornado1994 yeah, all im saying is that all dogs will react on how they are raised and who is with them, like my neighbors lab is great with my boxer/pitbull mix and with my other friend's dog. so it really depends on how they are treat it or raised.

dragonaspect26 Most Lab owners are often lazy and Naive. They often neglect proper ordinance because they don't think their Lab will attack someone or another Dog. You are correct. It ALL depends on how a Dog is raised and the type of environment they're raised in.

I love them too but it doesn't stop the breed ban. I can't take him anywhere or find housing, it's sad 🤷🏾‍♀️

I like César, he wants to show of the world that pittbull are dogs as other dogs and they are intelligent and very kind with their owner and children.

I enjoy waching video and stories of dogs on youtube; after a while, you start to see some common tracts and distinctivenes in specific dog races. Of course i dont pretend to be able to judge a dog watching a video or a story of a single exeplar; and I agree that agressivity and insecurity must be for the best part a consequence of bad experienec in a dog, dsregarding the race. Said that, i found the pitbuls to be usually affectionate' loving and cuddly type of dogs and is perhaps the race that personally find more appelling. If i could, having the space in my life, have a dog and choose what dog to have; i would probably choose a pitbul.

aw i would love to have a pitbull one day, but im afraid im way to addicted to bullterrier now xD Bullbreeds = Best Breeds :D
