My friend Sean gave up a super great career as a rapper where he was legit making 6 figures & hanging out with his celebrity friends, living a great life, had literally everything & fulfilling his childhood dreams and so happy… but gave up EVERYTHING for JWs. All because his sister said she would ban him seeing his beloved niece & nephew if he didn’t give up his career he worked so hard for and doing great. Now he with the cult & working a basic job. (Remember… He was working & partying with major celebrities & rappers and making 6 figures. (He does still got money because he smart & invests.) It’s sad how JWs want you to give up everything “for Jehovah.”🤦🏽‍♀️

Im a Bible student thankfully not baptized, and I’m trying to leave, and I even have not gone to my meetings for the past 3 weeks, and even missed my past 3 studies… but now I’m getting texts from sisters & brothers talking about how I’m “just discouraged..” which I’m not. They want me to be someone I’m not, give up great friends & family just because they not JWs, I got “judged” for being a plasma donor because they don’t believe in saving lives. (I also heard about a 6 year girl who died because her parents wouldn’t let the doctors give her a blood transfusion. They also don’t like that I’m more spiritual than religious. I also have 6 specific sisters who have been straight up bullies for the past 5 years. I want to block the ones in my phone contacts but others will just contact me..😳🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m never going to get away because they won’t let me.. no matter how much I try to get away…. 😭🤷🏽‍♀️

What a touching, heartfelt interview! Thank you Kirby for your openness and honesty. My heart broke when you spoke of your friend ending his life. My father was in “good standing” as a jw and also ended his own life. The pain that comes with a loved one/friend ending their life is a pain so deep and so raw and leaves us with so many unanswered questions. I can tell from your interview that your friend knew deep in his heart that you loved him and cared about him. I’m happy that you now have the freedom to live your life on your terms and have escaped this horrific cult. Continued happiness to you!

Wow!! What a great IN PERSON interview! I love that you did the IRL experience. I really enjoyed watching this! I can’t believe she knew and was friends with the infamous Stephen Letts nephew that we’ve all heard about. It’s so sad what happened to him. Heart breaks every time I think about what he must have been going through. 💔 It was very nice to hear more of an inside perspective of who he was in sharing their friendship. I loved watching this one. ❤ Oh and just want to throw this out there to help you on future interviews for your channel. If you purchased some inexpensive microphones the audio wouldn’t be so echoey during the interview. I learned this by testing it out with my own KZread channel and making videos. I recently started a “Succulent Addict” @ForeverASucculentAddict growing succulents indoors garden channel. And I wanted to do a video sharing the succulent fairy garden I did on my balcony deck for spring/summer/autumn and I live right next to a freeway. (You can imagine how loud it is😝) I didn’t want the outdoor videos I create to pick up the freeway noise and ruin the audio of my videos so I went to Amazon and purchased a Bluetooth microphone that attaches to my iPhone. Which is what I use for making my videos of course. ☺️ Well anywho…. I compared using the microphone and NOT using it in two separate testing videos and man oh MAN it’s a GAME CHANGER. If you go to my “Deck Tour” video you will see you can’t even HEAR a freeway. 🤯 The microphone focuses in on just your voice. So anyways I just wanted to throw that out there to help. I’m still learning so much about making videos for KZread. I’m by no means an “expert” whatsoever….But I’m so glad I invested in a small easy to transport microphone. It really helps SOOOO much!! 🎉 Hope that helps you guys. I just want you to have ALL the success in the WORLD. Love you both SOOO much!! Thanks again for all that you do for the Ex JW community. ❤

We were the only ones in the cult. Soo thankful because leaving was easy. My first congregation was very dynamic and multi cultural which is what drew me in but when we moved interstate to a white wealthy old congregation which caused me to slowly wake up. I realised how racist they were and it gave white supremacy vibes so I was out. The only friends I had ended up leaving and we felt soo isolated. Totally get what she’s saying. Great interview

Truthfully speaking just from a biblical examination, it's mind boggling to think someone could read the NWT and think it's inspired by God in any capacity. All Judeo Christianity Bible have contradictions in them but the JW is on a whole other level of absurdity. The entire Bible is worthless just in the first 2 books. I feel bad for all those who do not know any better or relegate all outside teachings/knowledge to being Satan influenced. This is why i support channels such as yours. Keep up the good work guys.

I'm 42 n I was taught from birth n I thought the world was going to end. I graduated hs btw I couldn't imagine the year 2000 or anything pass that I now have a grandchild and my mother die believing 😢

Kirby said that she didn't know when Steven died, I found a podcast of his sister on The Lloyd Evans Channel from January 12th, 2021. And she said he died Jan of 2020 she didn't give a date. Hi. I'm so aware of the organization short comings. But I would not call it a cult. They are just radical. And me having left I'm on a personal journey to know God. But I'm grateful for some of the principles and habits I gained while in it.

I left the Jehovah’s Witnesses decades ago because of similar reasons. I’ve watched several of your videos and it seems to me you guys worshipped the “governing body” and not God. I say this because I’ve always believed in the God of the Bible and know that despite the scandals and ever changing doctrine the organization was in the midst of, they had A LOT OF TRUTH. From observation you guys were enticed by and wanted to be part of the world. THE PROOF… the tattoos, the braids(which there’s nothing wrong with) and most of all the Egyptian Ankh worn by the brother. If we believe that the God in the Bible is the “truth” then brother you might as well have stayed in the JW organization instead of embracing Egypt. I would recommend reading the different translations of “The Contendings of Horus and Seth” and see the debauchery the Egyptians believed in amongst their gods. Because if you’re wrong I pray that the Most High and Christ have mercy on your souls. Also you guys carry yourself in a very dignified way, I would attribute some of those qualities to being brought up in that organization. In other words don’t throw the baby out with the bath water, pick the meat off the bones and keep moving.

Make sure your advice and suggestion hold weight…and be sure of its validity. If you think that the Bible, and the God of it, is truthful, then I recommend you to read these books: “The Age of I Know, Unmasking the Magicians!” “The Lost Book of Enki” “The Emerald Tablets” Then do some extensive research on “The Council at Nisea 325 A.D. Afterwards, do research on the Annunaki. The fact that you were being overly critical about their appearances e.g., braids; tattoos etc, as if that would diminish a person’s intellect, tells me about yours (low vibrations). However, your critique of him embracing Egypt, also shows that you haven’t thoroughly read the bible. If you did, you’d realize that everything lead to Egypt. Lastly, the “Most High,” has a name, do some diligent research to find it out. Stating that they come off as dignified is somewhat hypocritical, since it seems to suit you with your comment towards them.
