I lived in China in 1986 to 1987. One of the first groups of American exchange student and everything you said about the layers is so true. Now I’m 56 years old and still going back. I take my children to experience China too. My 16 year old daughter has gone with me three times. People can’t understand why I love to go to China so much but I love it.

Welcome to China. I am now working at the states and will be back to China to build my country in the future. I hope more and more people from the states can get a chance like you so that they can see China by themselves instead of the points of view from news channels. I communicated with many people here in the states and many people tried to tell me how "evil" my country is. That bias was not coming from nowhere. I get you! I mean, I live in New Zealand right, and you know what that's like, but I keep going back to China! It just gets under your skin. The people I think. Sort of sweet and innocent like New Zealanders but with the huge weight of an ancient civilisation underneath it all. Look forward to it :)

I lived in America, every summer I couldn’t wait to visit China. My coworkers said why are you Chinese so bored going to the same place all the times. I said I go to China, I didn’t stay in one place. China is huge. Every place visit is totally different in dialects, different cultures, local dress different and different, different foods, different in ancients built architectures,. So many breath taken views, scenery and mountain, with four seasons. From nyc to LA , there is nothing that gives surprised about. It’s bored in America.

The English translation in the video totally twisted some the of comments made by the Chinese. I do not know if this is done on purpose or not, because I know some South Koreans don't like the Chinese. This is due to the Chinese boycotting the Koreans as a results of the THAAD deployment in SK. Anyway the translation was so bad it made some of the Chinese comments seem rude or disrespectful which were different from the original meanings. On the whole, the comments were POSITIVE towards Pakistan, I do not know what is your point?

Hi, It's a good time to visit Xingjiang China, the view of Xingjiang is seasonal, the best time is June-August. You can rent a car if you have driving license. You will see the most diverse landscapes in there in this time.

Hi Jordan, allow me to reiterate this and I've done it before recommending certain places you should visit if you do return to China. If you retraced the ancient silk route (china portion) starting from Xi'an all the way to Kashgar and Tashkorgan in Xinjiang, you would have done everything you have always wanted to in China at 1 go - diverse cultures, different peoples (of different diverse ethnicities), ancient monuments, varied, pristine landscapes from deserts to alpine lakes, histories you'd have learnt along this route, etc.

This is my first time to watch your video, I am so glad you love China. You showed the amazing landscape, and I think maybe you can talk about “How you feel about Chinese people in your trip”,which is obviously an important part. Love from China!

Welcome back, love you girls! I assume you have probably only traveled northwest of Yunnan this time (aka Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-la, which is the most popular tour route in Yunnan). As the only province in China, where live the most diverse ethnic minorities (26), you just couldn’t go through every corner worth visiting in a month. I was born and grow up in the south of Yunnan. Even I go back once or twice per year, I still can’t stop missing there. I’m so glad you finally come to my hometown, and I wish you had a wonderful stay in Yunnan. 💕💕

Hey if you're wondering what's the next magical place you can go to in China then I'll recommend "茶卡盐湖 Chaka Salt Lake" it's touristy but it's worth it. But the best, the best place to visit is "黑马镇 hei ma zhen（river horse town)". Omg this place is soo laid back and you can like camp near the 青海湖 qinghai lake. Omg it's beautiful. I don't like the touristy side of qinghai lake. I only like it at HEIMA town. And it's quite beautiful. And if you wanna see a desert then I suggest "dunhuang". It's like an oasis in the desert. Dunhuang is touristy but it's not that touristy. But it's a beautiful desert. Extremely beautiful

Welcome back to China. If you like desert landscape, I strongly recommend you to visit the Crescent Spring ( 月牙泉) which in DunHuang City, GanSu Province (甘肃省敦煌市), an amazing and romantic little lake near MingSha Mountain, surrounded by desert. It's a famous tourist attraction since the Han Dynasty, over 2000 years ago. It's not easy to maintain this miracle, I don't know how long it will last in the world. Another must-see destination of DunHuang is the famous Mogao Grottoes, a World Cultural Heritage, a pearl on the Silk Road. I think it would be a journey full of history, culture and art for you.

Kunming is full of natural beauty. Glad you have been there and saw the flower blossom.

Ljiang is above 2600 meters sea level. You were wise not to carry any higher with your cold. It could had turned into a fatal high altitude sickness. Next time when you explore southwestern China, Shangri-la is agreat place, particularly in May with high mountain azaleas blossoming. And the Pudacuo National Park totally deserves a day. Shangri-la in Yuannan also has the biggest Tibetan style buddhism temple out of Tibet Province. Speaking of desert in China, you might consider Dunhuang. Google it, please. My most recent visit back to China was to Guizhou Province in April, locates next to Yunnan. It's amazing too. We visited Anshun with the biggest waterfall 'Huangguoshu' in China, Kaili and Xijiang Qianhu Miao ethnic Village, Libo National Parks, and Zhaoqing -- the Dong ethnic village with fabulous trail to Tang'an and 3-hour car ride to Jiabang - one of the 3 most spetacular paddy field terraces in China. Stay well and have fun!
