Why I Create: John Cook - Nebraska Volleyball

Спорт

John Cook has reached some of the highest pinnacles of the volleyball world. Having won national championships at multiple collegiate and high school levels, he’s truly a master of his craft. With high achievement though comes even higher expectations, pressure and demands. But the experiences of working with student athletes and seeing them reach their potential is what drives the energy and passion for Cook.
This is John’s story.

Cook has created a dynasty in Nebraska and has made a whole state proud of their women volleyball program. Plus he has helped create a lot of discplined, postive-minded, confident young women who are prepared to succeed later in their lives. John Cook is a great coach because he makes great contributions to the world.

Yes, we do care!! And I'm not even living in Nebraska. When Cook retires someday I will definitely be flying my Husker red flag at 1/2 mast!

What a tremendous video and inspirational story. My daughter was at Husker Camp this past June and walking into Bob Devaney (and the Coliseum) was unforgettable. Knowing the history of the program, it was an experience of a lifetime for her to learn from the best in the game. Meeting Coach Cook and getting to demo a drill (and receive instruction from him to improve it) as he explained it to the campers was such an honor. She has that same volleyball (at 0:07) with his signature in a prominent location in her room.

Program on top? Try Stanford, Penn state, or Texas. Nebraska might be #4 at best
