I already know how to crochet, sew, quilt, embroider, journal, and several other crafty skills. I also do logic grid puzzles to aid in keeping my mind active and alert. I’m curious how you sew and quilt in your van. I don’t recall ever seeing a video of yours on how you sew in your van, but I’d love to!

I just have been sewing by hand. But I have a machine. I just have to see how much juice it drains out of my jackery battery.

I have been crocheting a bit over a year, but always love beginning crochet videos because I always learn something new. I always learn something new! I appreciate your videos no matter how long they are. You have to do what is best for you and Sammy in the van. The heat has been horrible all over. You both stay safe out there and have a great night.

Love your videos! I'm sure many people would love to see and learn some crocheting, but from experience I know there are many, many videos teaching how to crochet. I'll enjoy watching crochet for awhile, and then I'll be looking for the "s" in crafts. You have so many talents. Your brother is also talented. I can't wait to see what he's up to lately. I enjoyed crocheting. I enjoyed sewing. I tried cross stitch. Didn't figure it out. I tried woodburning little pictures. I enjoyed decoupage for a long while. I'm not good at painting. Loved to make kids crafts, and especially ornaments for Christmas. I tried knitting, and stopped after the slipped stitch that make my knitting look a run in a nylon stocking. I'd love to learn carpentry, or plumbing, or electricity. Oh, well! It is what it is. You're right. I always felt a sense of accomplishment when I finished a project.

When I lived in Florida I had friends who would go to thrift shops and buy quality wool sweaters, wash them, and pull the wool out and roll them into balls. No one would guess that it was recycled yarn.

I think you should teach crocheting and let people making a simple project at the same time. I think a live will be good for you so you don't have to bother editing also. Like chain stitch and make example flower to use for a card, embellishment etc. Then those simple animal ducts. Just be careful of copyright patterns. Just link people to go buy the pattern or use free download. I am sure you know what to do about the copyright stuff. Just don't overdo yourself. Do what you like, want and nothing to prove to anyone. They can go somewhere else.

My Dollar Tree has a huge yarn area. The skeins are only 2-3 ounces but more than enough to make hot pads. So if a person just bought 3 or 4 for about 5 bucks it would be plenty enough to crochet a scarf or hat. I have been crocheting for over 40 years.

I live on disability ..with this inflation there's no such thing as extra money. But I still find stuff to craft with. I'd be lost without crafting I work on some project or another daily.

I used to crochet and have totally forgot . I have a bag off granny squares from 30 years ago that I never put together. Tried to learn how to knit by a book but never could learn . I also used to macrame but I don’t even know if you can still get macrame yarn anymore.

I didn't get one commercial did anyone else I never knew that it's was on the back. Does that apply to knitting as well? You can also get a spray bottle mist yourself if your hot I find it helps so much when I'm out. Put some lavender aromatherapy in it or something tea tree oil too! It gives you a lift .

@@vivianKimberlin I just looked up what I bought, and I was wrong stating it was a crochet tool. What I bought from Amazon was a Beadalon Artistic Wire 6-Prong Knitter Tool. I need to go out of my comfort zone and try to use this! I also have the Beadalon Tying Station, and that is great for macrame stuff (which I’ve never done either and will some day). You can use colored wire in smaller gauges with the Knitter Tool. I’ve seen some cool stuff made with it.

Just get some cheap yarn to start and on the back, it will tell you what size hook to get. They even have these thing at the dollar tree.

Very Smart Idea about name change. What is the best for long wear of yarn for a cover to keep in den to govern body. ?? Size ( not for big man length?). I would like to order one maybe if I could afford. I never had a throw. As I get older I need have such when I watch tv. I want to know so I can look for good yarn so I could send you. I realize your choice of colors might be limited there.? But would really like a quilt. ? does that take you long? I remember my mom setting up quilt frame. How would I do it?
