Why I Always Come Back to Thailand 🇹🇭
Why I Always Come Back to Thailand
On my first day back in Thailand, I explore the island of Phuket, which is the largest island in Thailand. I begin at Nai Yang beach in Phuket, Thailand and then make my way down to Surin Beach. Phuket, Thailand is one of the more expensive and touristy islands in the country, but it still has delicious food and beautiful Thai beaches.

You need to drive up to the Rajjaprabha Dam in Khao Sok National Park. It's a few hours north of Phuket. You can also take a bus if you don't like the long bike rides. You should also put 'krub' at the end of sentences. Aroy mak krub (very delicious) You can also use 'mai' to form a question so if you asking if it is cool you say 'yen mai krub?'.
Hi Jonathan, it was interesting watching the little girl and her fascination with your camera. People in Thailand seem to have really strong family bonds like people from the Philippines. Glad that you caught that large jet landing at the airport. Those close landings remind me of the airport in St. Martin.

I end up talking with people more than being a Tour guide sometimes in the videos 🤣 .. yeah I definitely recommend Thailand! Phuket is very touristy though. I’m in chiang mai now and I like it a lot… I’ve heard Koh Chang, Koh kood, and Koh mak are less touristy islands, but I haven’t been for myself. I’m editing the next Thailand videos now! Thanks for watching!

@@travelescapesOFFICIAL We are very much beach people, so wherever we settle, which we're just starting to research and document on our channel, will definitely be beachy. So one of the islands in either country sounds very appealing. When we visit, we probably won't hit the big places like El Nido or Phuket, rather the smaller and less touristy locations. We don't need all the fancy nightlife and shopping, we just want a comfortable, relaxing life among the locals... Keep up the great work!

The communication issue is always going to be there as Engilsh is not taught everywhere. That being said, you always show respect and attempt to learn the language and culture....and that, sir, is what makes your video's standout and enjoyable to watch. My personality is similar to yours, and being friendly and courteous to the locals seems to always help a farang to fit in. You will always be a farang, but the interest you show in their culture keeos you from being a typical tourist. Look forward to the rest of the series.

For our honeymoon 22 years ago, we wanted to go to Phuket. However we did not get a confirmed Bangkok Manila leg flight. Our confirmed flights were just Manila-Bangkok-Phuket-Bangkok. As it is near Christmas, we wanted to celebrate Christmas at home in the Philippines so we did not gamble. We ended up doing Bohol and Cebu for 1 week...

We stayed in Panglao Island Nature Resort now called Mithi. We did Hinagdanan, Baclayon Church, Bolo Making, Blood Compact, Loboc River, Tarsier, Mahogany and Chocolate Hills. Of course the facilities now in Bohol were not like that in 2002.

The old airport was at Tagbilaran with a short runway. The end has a wall so the pilot needed to lowe altitude far from runway then cruise low to land so it can stop before it reaches the wall.

which one? There are two in the video. The one near the airport is Be Home Hotel, and I do recommend this one if you have an early/late flight if you don't mind spending $40 USD... the one at Surin Beach is AM Surin, But I thought that one was expensive for what you get and Surin is a bit crowded. If you're going to Phuket I liked the Karon/ Kata beach area as it's in the middle of all the other beaches if you want to do trips to other beaches... Bang Tao is nice but expensive and far away from everything else. Overall Phuket as a whole has a lot of tourism. I heard Koh Chang, Koh Kood, and Koh Mak are less touristy, but I haven't been there yet. Thanks for watching!
