I’m in my early 40’s and I’m kinda glad social media didn’t exist when I was in high school. These dudes would have convinced me that I was an incel, when in reality I was just a young dude who hadn’t come out of his shell yet. Guys, you can’t avoid talking to women. You MUST participate, you MUST compete, you MUST do and learn everything you can to make yourself “that dude”. Accept the fact that the odds will always be against you, but participate anyway-- even if you get rejected a million times. Dating isn’t like the military where you can choose to be a conscientious-objector. And even those kinds of soldiers are required to attend boot camp.
