Yup... GTA V lacking of details was a disappoint. Hopefully GTAVI will bring us a RDR 2 level of details in its world.

You're little lucky in GTA 4 when your health runs out, because when it's getting red until you die, the health is little handicap it gives you little chances to live yet but I don't think in GTA 5.

Look at the problem of why GTA V is worse than GTA IV according to many (including me), it is because it lacks the details present in IV. That's why newer is not always better, although I must admit that V does have very good details (like when your character has more reaction to water on his clothes)

GTA 4 physics & logic that will put GTA 5 to shame: 1) In GTA 4 when you shoot an NPC in different parts of their body they will react differently depending on what body part you shot. 2) You can pick up items such as bricks & use them as weapon in GTA 4. 3) Exiting a moving car & car crash is much more satisfying in GTA 4 4) NPCs will pull out an umbrella & cops will wear rain coat if it starts to rain. 5) In GTA 5 if you call a friend to hang out during midnight they will just go busy but in GTA 4 they will answer their phone with a yawn. 6) You can get advantages for hanging out with a friend for example, Roman can give you a free cab ride, Dwayne can give you back up. 7) Hospitals can be entered.

In key to her heart, you have to date her a few times. Otherwise, it won't work. You have to have some progress with Millie.

For everyone playing the nostalgia card, that is total bs, i played GTA 5 first and really enjoyed it, but GTA 4 really gave me an experience that is not easy to replicate, in terms of singleplayer GTA 4 is greater than 5 for me.

Actually there is a reason why GTA IV has better details than GTA V. Let me explain. Basically GTA IV and V both essentially came out for the same generation of consoles (PS3/X360). When IV came out, the console was around 1 year after release, so there was a lot of headroom to place such fine details in the game. But when V came out, the console was at the end of its lifetime, and the fact that GTA V was way more ambitious than IV. Hence they didn't have the luxury of having such a headroom of resources, because of which such fine details were omitted or modified with simpler resources. And since the PS4/Xone (plus PS5/XseriesX) was more focussed at an improvement of visual quality and a performance boost, the developers chose to keep the same resources to maintain the same consistency.

gta 4 will always be better since its realistic and not tone down attention to detail hard work love effort time struggle

gta iv has a lot of details, but gta v has even more, it is better

These ‘GTA IV are better than GTA V’ comparisons need to stop. They’re legit ruining the community and that can impact the fun you have with the games. It’s honestly hard to even enjoy playing GTA IV anymore because these videos make me realize just how overrated IV is. I appreciate V so much more because of these videos. And it’s always never what V has over IV, it’s always a one sided cherry picked comparison with no context as to why some things are different. And they’ve been going on for YEARS now.
