Really like your Vlogs. I watch a lot of biking vlogs (etc.) on youtube, and your editing and production are exceptional. Keep it up. PS Your english accent is sooooo much different than my wife’s. Funny.

I wouldn’t shame anyone for wearing expensive kit or kit on a budget - we all share a passion and should be happy for more people joining the wonderful bike community. No matter what they wear. Girona is absolutely wonderful, I love it here so much ☺️

I really liked Girona for a week but honestly the road choices are not that abundant, even on gravel compared to other places in Spain or France, where I lived. I felt limited after our 3 stays. The scenery is nice but there are way more beautiful areas in Spain with the same spirit. Overall the respect for cyclists is perfect in Spain, everywhere you go and you can meet cyclists easily. I wish we had that in France.

I agree. I think it's like an Instagram thing. You have very high expectation and then meet the reality. I did stay there for 2 days last September. Old town is very pretty, there are like 3-4 cafés for cyclists and the weather is better than in Northern Europe. The roads are not the best there, but much better than in France imho.

Looks amazing Girona is on the list.

The South and the areas around Granada and Sevilla are way better. Also much less rain and warmer in winter. Big caveat is that you have to be ok with high temperatures in summer.

I can compare only Italy and Spain , where i rode before. Italy are good scenery and food either , but the quality of local roads where to ride are very poor. Must be prepared to get puncture or damage the wheel. 3 years in a row got punctures and damaged wheels riding in Italy (Tuscany), better to take with spare wheel into travel bag. In Spain around Girona local roads are in excellent quality you can be more relaxed by enjoying scenery, not all the time trying to avoid road holes. This year spring gonna go to Girona to ride again. And of course the feeling in Girona that so much has been done for cyclists is amazing, starting from coffee shops and services around and attitude.

Best place for cycling is Chiang Mai. Nothing else...

It's good for winter months, but its also overrated. There are influencers everywhere like literally. I was there for 2 days and almost bumped into clippedinandfree. Also the roads in Spain are quite shitty if you cycle in NL like me. Honestly I like the Limburg region in NL much more. Cycling in NL is much more inclusive than in Girona.
