It’s despicable that F1 won’t stop moving the goalposts.

I consider this a big instance of corporate idiotism. The short term impact of splitting the profits with more teams can never be more than the impact a new team would have on enternainment and growth of the whole thing

Not to mention, Andretti’s probably the best-case scenario for an 11th team. Most other viable competitors would just do what nearly every other team did and buy a preexisting team.

Part of this issue is that the FIA is the one issuing these regulations. FOM was the party that denied Andretti. The FIA already issued the acceptance. But Formula One (Liberty Media) is refusing, in the MOST AMERICAN way they possibly can. It's despicable.

The only take one should have on this situation but you explained it better than other videos i've seen . Keep up the good work

Colton Herta is from my home town (more of a city than a town but idk what else to call it) so anything to stop him from entering f1 enrages me. First he was denied his super license by the FIA and now the team he would join with has been denied. It is a sad day

more teams = more happy!

Its really dumb to be like "lets add Texas, Miami, Las Vegas and Chicago because USA Fans mean more money and lets try our best to hype up Logan Sargeant as the first US driver in forever, but lets not an established racing family that is owned by an f1 champ not in even though they have done everything we've asked them to do" (and I know Micheal Andretti has made a lot of f1 bosses butt hurt with the things he said, but at the same time if I was them I would let it him in just so I could prove myself right that they don't belong)

Even tho I’ve been an f1 fan since birth, I’m still not apposed to adding more teams. I think we gotta be open minded about this kind of stuff. Your point about “how do we know these are the best teams” was absolutely spot on. There’s no way to know unless we bring another team in.

This decision was based on two things: greed and disdain for Michael Andretti. If you think it's anything other than this, you're fooling yourself.

Lewis Hamilton confirmed for 2025 he is going to Ferrari, but the question is who is going to Mercedes

I agree with everything said! I would also say the Europeans are scared an all American Prestigous team might come in and challenge them...then they would cry because the American team want fair.

I'm all for a new team after Alonso retires. I want the best chance for Alonso to be back on top of the podium / championship😳😅

I mean, the FIA and F1 _are_ beefing with each other, so I hypothesize that F1 rejecting Andretti is their next salvo in this beef.

Ive been a little keyboard warrior the last two day try to persuade F1 fans to let FOM know we're not happy with this decision by cutting off our credit card swipes. If you care about the future of F1, cancel your F1TV subscription, unfollow F1's socials and KZread channel. cancel those plans to attend a GP. No overprice made with Chinese slave labor merch for a year or two. And so on.

Add this to the list of reasons Max Verstappen should be arrested
