Van Basten owns a court close to my home, every hour is fully booked!

I play it for 3 years now. It's a lot of fun. I see Arjen Robben sometimes playing on the court next to me😂

Badminton if you take seriously is pretty intense. Much more intense than this. And I’ve played numerous sports. Football, badminton, basketball. A version of the padel game called pickle ball, unless it’s the same thing. Badminton if played seriously against someone of similar level can make you try to over extend to reach things which can lead to ankle or knee injuries. Whether it’s your knees giving out, you rolling your ankle, or the grip on your shoe being trash. It’s much easier to get injured in badminton than this game since you have to many intricate lateral and back and forth movements which could end up with ankle injuries, which is definitely worse for a footballer than anything else.

Not pickleball. Padel has a bigger court and walls on all sides you can play the ball off like in squash

They play sports for a living so when they aren't at work they like to do anything other than sports and this padel nonsense is perfect for them.
