This video is informative but I may add a few things for any future students thinking about Finland. I have not been to Finland before and am a US and Canadian Citizen. My viewpoint is that even in Canada as I’ve seen many middle eastern and Indian people who’ve moved there for studies, they struggle the same. If your entering any county with limited resources facing a language barrier and are alone you will face challenges. Many of the exchange students in Canada work jobs in warehouses or supermarkets to pay for college and living expenses and upon graduation cannot find any jobs. I’ve had Uber drivers with masters degrees in Canada… My next point is even in the USA if you plan to educate yourself live by yourself and survive you will also struggle because life is hard. You will have to balance school, work, and socializing anywhere you plan to go. I can say that if you come with some saved money and have a budget and keep faith in god you will succeed. Blessings

That is quite universal problem in Finland, getting a job after your graduation. If you want a job you pretty much need to start working a job while you study that is related to your field. I've heard before about difficulties for non-Finns getting desirable jobs in Finland; even getting interviews if you don't have a Finnish-sounding name can be tricky from what I've read. That said, I think your point about language is a little unfair. Yes, most Finns speak English, and most people say that you can get by living there only speaking English, but you would be putting an obvious limitation on yourself by doing so, and expecting employers to disregard an inability to speak at least one of the country's native languages when deciding who is the best person for a high-level job seems unreasonable to me. (I'm a Brit who hopes to live in Finland some day, by the way, and I've been learning Finnish in preparation for doing so!)
