It's not the fact that Marvels "Multi-verse Saga" isn't failing because its not something the fans want. It is failing because they stopped trying. At least its seemed like they've stopped trying to write "good" stories. The three movies you showed are the three worst reviewed at least in the new phase. Only because the character writing was so bad. Everything else you've mentioned is pretty spot on though.

It's gonna make a comeback just wait for deadpool and wolverine and it's all up from there. They are making fantastic 4 and x men movies and they are going to eventually cross over to the same universe

Maybe if we continue saying we want the great web to come back Sony would have no choice but to put it back in production.

That’s a weird line of thought, especially that 1) in theory it’s more profitable for them to make multiple games over the span of several years to keep a family base hooked. 2) it would’ve been much easier to establish a spider-verse only multiplayer game since you’d just have to keep the core mechanics of spiderman 2, add what is essentially more suit with unique suit abilities for the new spider people, then make it actually multiplayer compatible. It is 100times easier to do that than doing also that but add characters with insanely different game mechanics for non spider people.

This would be cool but I feel like people would complain on Twitter if it's only on PlayStation. Either way I would still buy it

Im a huge spiderman fan and i would love this game to come out but with recent releases like gotham knights, avengers project, and suicide Squad KTJL People are gonna complain because of the lack of substance that they can bring

That's true but I think that insomniac can walk around the holes of the failed live service games

I feel like that will make it even worse this multiplayer Spider-Man game was already complicated imagine doing that for all other heroes with other super powers this is not a movie this is a game

That's what I'm sure everyone is wondering. I think they have something bigger in mind, especially with Marvel and Sony giving them more trust with other Marvel characters such as Wolverine

Tbh I think it was the wrong decision. The Spiderverse is fresh right now. I couldn't care less about the fantastic 4 or the avengers at this point I just want to swing around with my buddies now that I have the chance and not wait until all of them get married and have 2 kids.
