Cause clowns are literally pre-ordering a game that doesnt seem to be perfectly polished. Not only that, they are dropping $200 without hesitation on it. Like st least wait for a demo or for the game to come out, now, no matter if it ends up being s buggy , unfinished mess (which, realistically it can very much be, just like any game), it will have sold successfully, since the hype train is already unstoppable. I wanna love this game, so much, but there is no logical reason to blindly trust it this early , hell , the first season pass is confirmed to be DBS Super Hero and Daima content, who tf wants that when there are so much more important content to be revealed ( movie characters, a lot of the og Z ones, og dragonball, etc.)

But with the immense focus on Super we are seeing, you need to chill with that excitement -Super hero and Daima as dlc, yeah, im sure people are unironically excited for that Chill the fk out. The game is not out, we’ve seen good trailers, but how many times that has been the case for horrendously buggy or unfinished games? Especially big ones such as this one that get very clearly rushed for its release? When the demo comes out , then we will know if its an actual great game, otherwise, you just putting the clown make up for bandai.

Even though you were talking fast I appreciate how you broke it down Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was my favorite game I have the first two but it was something about 3 takes me back to 07 I may be the most hyped about the what-if scenarios I have not been this hype for a video game since Budokai Tenkaichi 3

I hope they will give us access to other Budokai Tenkaichi OSTs maybe in DLCs because I really want to play this game with songs like wild rush or the meteor just to feel nostalgia once again.

By watching the unnatural movements of the story mode trailer that look like the jump force dialogue cutscenes, yeah there is the possibility they could fumble hard. That is why I lowered my expectations of this game after the new trailer. Lets see how the demo will look in 2 days and then It may worsen or enhance my hype.

Trunks charging up that beam looks baaaaad. 60fps on an anime fighter with cel-shaded graphics looks weird because we're used to frame by frame animation, which is why fighterZ graphics are unbeatable.

While this will be a true sequel to Tenkaichi 3, I'm sure fans would've loved a true Raging Blast 3 than what we got with Ultimate Tenkaichi.

It’s simply perfect

I specially hope they give us a new song from Hironobu Kageyama. This alone will make this game worth the purchase. To me he is the voice of Dragon Ball. it might sound crazy but to me he is Dragon Ball's audio even more so than the voice actors themselves.

Also the company and devs making this game made the originals. Also, a what if I’d like to see is what if Arale stayed with Goku on his journey? Since they are going to cover OG Dragon Ball this would be cool.

I think Imma love this game regardless. I REALLY enjoy these 3D fighter type games specifically for Dragonball.

The Ultimate Edition comes with early access perks. The regular release dates are for the Standard Edition, a.k.a. "just the game and nothing else" edition

I didn’t even play the original tenkaichi games but this new games got me giddy just at the thought of this. The graphics, the combat and the character roster alone is just 😖😫

To summarize, it's the definitive dragon ball experience, you truly feel in the battle as your character, and that's a treasured experience, everything they've done has captured that feeling and made everyone's dream game. The speed and combat of Tenkaichi with the quality of life changes from Raging blast to make the ultimate dragon ball game. P.s I think more anime fighters should take notes from the budokai games, particularly infinite world. That was basically the perfect formula for the casual's 3d fighter, rather than the arena fighter crap they pedal these days.

So, I sadly haven't seen any trailers Is it on mobile or consoles? Or both?

I've played the Budokai Tenkaichi series as a kid and to say that I wanted another installation of the series is an understatement BUT, I feel like something needs to be said. I don't know why, but from what I've seen online is that people are completely blinded by the fact that this game is made by Spike Chunsoft, they're the ones responsible for the highly acclaimed Shonen Jump games and OPM A Hero Nobody Knows, not to mention it's a Bamco game... Spike Chunsoft + Bamco, think about it.

None of that will affect the actual quality of the game. Pay to unlock characters is straight up false, you unlock them by playing the story mode. And idk but complaining about DLC in a game that has 164 characters in its base roster seems crazy to me

The camera is super wonky in most footage released so far. They have to get it fixed before release. I played BT3 way way WAYYY back in the day before it blew up on youtube, it was pretty casual as far as fighting games go; so to say it's to the franchise what FF7 is to Final Fantasy, well that's just wrong. Not only that, but 9 is arguably better than 7, 7 just has mainstream appeal. FighterZ is objectively the best Dragonball game to have ever come out, BT3 is considered second.

Man listen I get it The ps2 era was a good while ago, but that 25+ comment needs to be edited out 🤣🤣🤣🤣 made me feel old, especially since I'm now in the 30+ section lol

What if goten and trunks went to the tournament of power

I am keeping my expectations at a normal level. I don't want another Dragon Ball game with just the story mode and pvp. Yes, I do know that they made a twist to the story mode with the "what if" thing, but it's not enough. We need more, like multiplayer co-op raids, or weekly/daily stuff, limited timed events like in Dragon Ball Legends. Game modes that keep us engaged after the story. Something like Xenoverse but better. I also don't want paid characters, which has unfortunately been a problem with anime games. too many pay to win dlcs.

Have you played a budokai tenkaichi game? World tournament, online and local vs battles. What ifs and summoning shenron. Maybe we get a cell game tournament to. Battle tower. Loads of characters. I mean. Im excited af. Ngl. Hopefully the skills change when we transform because in a game like Xenoverse a transformation feels more like an aesthetic change mainly. I like how every transformation felt like a different level of bad ass.

to be fair, if you pre-order you DO get early unlocks, and early access. And if you throw $100 into the pit, you get the season pass (20+ more playable characters from DBS:SH and DIAMA (which isn't even airing yet!)) For a game that looks this good, that's this anticipated, and this hyped I'd say it's worth the buy. I've never even pre-ordered a game before and I'm so excited that I went and got the Deluxe edition
