Why 'Falling' Made Viggo Mortensen and Lance Henriksen Consider Quitting Showbiz | FULL INTERVIEW

Ойын-сауық

No joke: #ViggoMortensen felt like quitting the business entirely while he was directing and starring in 'Falling,' the story of a conservative father who moves in with his gay son's family in Los Angeles. Even his co-star, the legendary #LanceHenriksen, felt similarly. Learn why. #Sundance

Viggo is such a marvelous actor. He prolly doesn’t care much about awards, but I hope he gets that recognition one day.

Both Viggo and Lance are excellent, full spectrum actors. Viggo's Tony Lip in "Green Book" was masterful in his capture of the guy. I hope he works for many years to come, he has the goods.

Henriksen always had that screen presence, I hoped he had the chance to act in more famous roles.

Lance Henriksen is one of my favorite character actors, I'm glad he got this starring role, he did a great job nailing down this cantankerous old man. Viggo is another favorite of mine I think he did a fine job as director of this film.

Hard to believe that Viggo is 62. He looks Late 40's early 50's

He had me at Hochleitner..he was the younger Amish brother in "Witness" and I couldn't take my eyes off him (the barn raising scene). His face was full of life and sun. Still is.

I have a cool idea for Lance before he calls it quits. If they ever do a season 4 for Hannibal here's an idea I have if anyone bothers to take notice to it. What if they brought on Lance Henriksen from Millennium as his character Frank Black to team up with Will Graham to take down Hannibal. Like Will comes to Lance who at the time is retired and needs his help coaxing him into one last ride. and here's a title for the season Hannibal: The Chronicles of Will Graham & Frank Black

Oh oh, a message movie. Tired and useless plot. Cliched "conservative" father moves in with gay son. I suppose the "conservative," i.e. harsh, old-fashioned and bigoted father grows and learns from his loving, wise and thoughtful gay son. Viggo childishly destroys the straw man he builds...how courageous. Viggo, you have nothing to say.

I agree. But this theme has become very fashionable and frankly I can't relate, so, although I admire Vigo's work, I will give it a pass.
