I am Saumya, a first year student of MSc Applied Microbiology from Banaras Hindu University. I have graduated in Microbiology itself from the University of Delhi. @@vaishnavi8057 I believe you can still secure a decent rank if you analyse the paper properly and work on your strengths first and then spend time on your weak areas. Work according to weightage of a particular topic in the exam. You can get these analyses on IFAS and pathfinder sites also

Hello di 👋 I didn't knew about all these exams during my graduation I only gave CUET pg this year but i hadn't prepared much for CUET also so i am getting low tier university and Colleges now due to low marks scored in exam. I am really confused right now that should i take a drop year for GAT B & CUET PG or continue persuing Master degree from a low teir state University. Pls respond

@@Pankajthakur32515 Hey you should continue with your masters from ANY university or college (government) because eventually you'd have to give exams like CSIR NET, GATE XL/BT, ICMR BRET, DBT JRF, JGEEBILS for PhD admissions. GATE scores are even considered for jobs after masters. There's no campus placement even in institutes like BHU or DU after MSc. Try to maintain good relations with professors and maintain a good CGPA. It's hardly a 2 year program out of which a 4 month dissertation and a 1 or 2 month internship from any premier institute would make up for everything in your CV. Don't waste a year. Instead utilise it for all the exams I mentioned earlier!

I'm in a similar dilemma right now. Everyday is a rollercoaster of emotions. I got into central university of Punjab lekin ab ye lag ra ki kuch better mil jaye. Just trying to be patient for now.
