It's beyond funny when Jennifer lopez actually thought she could sell enough tickets to go on tour uhm. When you think everyone's beneath you that's what happens. She's not a natural talent like Selena or MJ who didn't need to take any dancing or singing lessons. They were naturally gifted artists. Madonna's last tour was one of her worst. She did. Because Virgin Records was cleaning house at the time, the guy in charge of the lawsuit had been moved to a new department. Lopez lost the lawsuit against the jenny from the block music sample and had to pay them 400k in damages. The articles covering that story were wiped off the net by 2010.

Pink made fun of a singer and even Paris Hilton in her video “Stupid Girls”. The car scene in which a doll was thrown at the windshield was similar to a scene from a music video by Jay LULU. Somehow Jay LULU had respect for Pink and didn't make any d0rky remarks. Pink was and is simply too harsh and Jay LULU doesn't want to be parodied again in a Pink video.

Jen and Ben probably had to put the $60 million dollar house that they paid cash for up for sale. Her current movie she invested in is a flop so she will loose a huge chunk of cash because of that and the cancelled tour that she pulled out of just weeks before the first tour date is going to cost her huge penalties and lots more of her cash. Too many bad decisions all at once. She should have taken on one project at a time because even though it doesn't seem like it when you are famous investing huge amounts of cash on investments/projects is extremely risky.

She sold that docu-thing to Amazon - so she actually made 10 million off of it - whether Amazon makes anything off of it is another question. She also did that movie on Netflix which apparently was a massive success in many countries. So, she won some, and lost others

Other than comedians, I have never heard anyone make comments as hateful as Jlo. It is a shame because she could easily take $20 million per year and instead of sinking it into a lame vanity project, she could teach her kids about love by giving scholarships to dancers, actors, musicians; paying her help better and offering paid internships, building homes for the less fortunate, hosting make-a-wish children, and so many more kind acts. She could do $1 million a year. I bet she would like herself a lot more as well.

They really haven't. It floors me when others say it started in '01 when that was the bang when it ended. J.lo came out looking like Mariah's doppelganger. She was already stealing music samples and songs from her since her debut. Mariah was on another label by '01. The music sample she stole was outed by it's creators - not Mariah. Ja Rule and MC DID collab - it was j.lo's last theft. If We w/Ja is what he re-created for I'm Real. The vocals were stolen from Ashanti and so was the music sample that Ashanti had locked down for her own debut. It's what caused Mariah to have to push back Glitter's release for the 3rd time to Sept. 11. Those 2 thefts cost Mariah her record contract with Virgin Records. Mariah "famous" quote came from an obscure interview in '03. Nobody knew of it. After Lopez was kicked off Idol she did an interview and said Mariah was 'mean' to her 10 YEARS ago - suddenly that meme and gif showed up everywhere. Mariah got asked about it and had no idea what people are talking about. This 'feud' is based entirely off that one comment - which was literally Mariah answering a guy's question about "which of these artists do you know" before rattling off a bunch of names.

AND... her Concert tour that was cancelled just weeks before the first concert date. Who knows how much money she put up for that. Also it is going to cost her big for cancelling like she did -lots of penalties, etc. Heck she has been dumping so many millions of cash in her projects and the 65 million in the house. She probably had to sell the house so she could get some money out of it. She may be worth a lot but having assets and having cash on hand are two different things.
