@@tsevere the stupid thing about you guys is you cannot tell talent from College to the NFL You can have all the talent in the world and be a bust in the NFL because you don't know your I.Q AND PROCESSING DOESN'T TRANSLATE. and you can lack athleticism and have a HIGH I.Q and thrive. It can also be the coaching and system that fit. It's stupid to say he's Zach Wilson 🤦🏽 when Zach Wilson played for BYU and never played defenses like Jayden Daniels or JJ McCarthy never processed information or NFL type of playbook.

Too many red flags, just physically with his frame and injury risk And that’s not to mention his unwillingness to target middle of the field and leaving good pockets to scramble dangerously without QB sliding when he should. I like his quick processor and release time, but that’s not enough to justify drafting him at 1 in a class like this… Come on man, let’s get some real analysis here, not fanboy crap.

@@conesobruh9165 you’re either a salty AFC West fan, a troll, lack critical thinking skills, or all of the above. I’m a Washington Sports Dudes fan, I can objectively say Mahomes is incredible and the greatest QB in the NFL. I try not to compare generations of QBs cause the game changes too much, he doesn’t have to deal with getting hit nearly as much as QBs did a decade ago. It’s completely possible that Williams will be a bust, just like every other prospect-especially QBs. That being said, there’s a multi-million dollar industry built around evaluating college talent, both for the private (NFL scouts) and the public (clowns like Orlovsky, and a whole bunch of KZreadrs who aren’t clowns). They get it wrong a _ton_ but I’m pretty sure their win rate is better than the average KZread commenter. I’d trust a literal circus clown’s opinion more than someone who uses a nickname for Mahomes that I would have considered lazy and uncreative by 7th grade.

Imagine how good Williams or Daniels would be if they stayed in college for 2 more years and played their final season with 2 WRs that will be gone by pick 20. I think Williams and Daniels are 1 and 1A right now, in terms of current ability. But while it’s not as if Daniels has a low ceiling, Williams and Maye have more potential. Williams goes 1 because he’s the only one with best non-Mahomes QB potential. Daniels is the most likely to be at least a top 10 guy, but the least likely to be a top 5 guy, imo. If I’m picking that high, I’m swinging for the fences, so I have them Williams, Maye, Daniels; like a normie. But have no problem swapping Maye and Daniels if you’re trying to save your job as a GM.

Orlovsky is a lazy guy, he talks about the tape but doesn’t really talk about the tape. I think he is just looking at the system Daniels came from, and going Burrow came from there, so must be good. But he did that with Ridder as well. Desmond Ridder easily has the best tape in the class. No he didn’t. Daniels is pretty good though, a lot just depends on where he goes, a lot of agent influence tends to seep into Orlovsky’s rankings. He also said Mahomes had the worst mechanics he had ever seen, and his off platform throws were a crutch that would not benefit him. You might think he said that when Mahomes was in college. You would be wrong, he said that in 2021, about a guy was the league already league mvp, Super Bowl winner, Super Bowl mvp, TD leader, passing leader, a guy who finished the season with over 4800 yards passing, and 37 TD’s. Thanks Dan. He also basically said Jalen Hurts was the worst and the Eagles wished they never drafted him. Ok.
