It’s cheaper but better hell nah, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia, Panama, then Mexico. Food & Women belong to Brazil & Portugal, & Mexico buddy gotta get his travel game up

Yep, when you travel your mind opens up much more, you realize that the media loves to stereotype countries and you understand when you're physically in a country you learn so much more about it as opposed to watching stuff on the TV.

Good stuff brothers! I remember the BMT days. Dell made a good point about intellectual property, coming from the states.

I haven't traveled to a lot of countries, but for all the countries I have traveled to and spent some time there, my heart is still in the Dominican Republic. It doesn't matter that other countries are cheaper, safer, more industrialized, cleaner and others things that me and other people may be able to come up with that is better. The point I'm trying to make is you have to follow your love to be in a certain place, because if you don't absolutely love a place for it's good and be able to tolerate the bad, you will continue searching for a place to call home for all the wrong reasons. Sort of like you may not have the prettiest or sexist girlfriend, boyfriend or spouse, but you love them and you are happy and proud to be with them no matter what anybody else thinks of them. That's my thoughts 🙂.

Shout out to you Aaron and Cardell. He also gives me reasonable responses on the FaceBook page when I ask a serious question to the group.

DR 10 X better than Brazil, Colombia, and Thailand - and even throws in combined...lol... that is clearly delusional 🙂Don't get me wrong, DR is awesome but doesn't even come close to Brazil...or Thailand by themselves. On the fence with Colombia since it has become a bit complicated with the drugging BS recently. The biggest downside to Brazil is cost... and with Thailand the distance from the US. Been each of these places more than once and for extended periods. IMO Thailand is the best for me, culture of is of the east and yet worldwide cultures incorporated well. Also, crime index is way better than those others and most importantly, just feels safer. DR and Brazil great too. Colombia, meh, sure…particularly if not looking for a date 😅.

@invisiblerevolution DR is last because there's a limited supply of affordable housing, everything has to be imported, local food is unhealthy, police is incompetent and corrupt, risk of robbery is high! infrastructure outside tourist areas is still sh!tty and there are power outages everyday. Thailand has great infrastructure everywhere, cheap housing everywhere, stable utilities like electricity, strong reliable police force, if you have investment properties they will be safe unlike in the DR, food is cheap and healthy, more investors and entrepreneurs to connect with. I will presume the same can be said for brazil and colombia, which I have not been to yet
