Guys that has been a good analysis of the politics in Kenya with the Office of the President in perspective!!! What i have picked from your insightful analysis is there are politicians in the Mountain that are fighting the Deputy President for supremacy and Ruto being a shrewd Politician is watching on the sidelines to see which politician from the mountain can replace Gachagua!

According to me it's money, government tenders is the main reason

Kip Tanui, just a correction: it's Kibaki who called Mwangale a political tourist,, Mwangale had formed the habit of stiring political trouble in Nyeri particularly and the politicians around the president had made sure Kibaki would not leave or preside over any function outside CEN. see how RV politicians kept a wide berth to Gachagua tour in UG last weekend? Thats how they did to Kibaki on the lead up to being dropped as VP.

RigG is done and dusted . Ruto is a head of him in his game. He has only one chance left. Shallow his pride, go back to Ruto and apologise. He serves at his pleasure not the other way round. His ego is too big to doom.

The informal Office of the President ndiyo kusema kwa hii nchi. Chief of staff in this office is called Farouk Kibet. His deputy is Dennis Itumbi. Their political insurance covers are akina Oscar Sudi etc. Unfortunately the informal office president is more powerful the FORMAL OFFICE OF PRESIDENT!! Sad.
