the fact that limelights have been reading all the proofs been shared but never listen to it live and from their own mouth but zach sang interview highlight it and let us know what's happening. All the stories, experience shared in the interview had been giving all the limelights know what ever is going on and we need justice for the boys fr. The boys deserve better, they have been working hard for that and we need to support them and always be there for them. This interview hits different if any of us watched it from the start from 2 years ago. These boys have been going thru a lot and not a lot of people know but zach sang have been highlighting those points that even us, nor anyone in this industry does not know whatever is going on. I wish Zach would interview/re-interview all of the One Direction members at some point, including Zayn. He's great at diving deep and shedding light on what really happens behind the scenes but isn't intrusive like many hosts I've seen. His interviews are my favorite because everybody is comfortable and ultimately ends on a high note. Loved seeing the WDW boys open up about the past/present struggles they have faced. Their character throughout it all really goes to show just how good people they are and how much they care for everyone in their lives

knowing they went through all of this while hiding it from their parents yet still chose to be super friendly and welcoming to every fan that they met at their shows really shows what good people they are. they had every right to be not in the mood to talk to anyone, they didn’t have to show up to meet and greets, they didn’t have to be super happy and sweet around fans because of how tired they were and how they were treated. but if you’ve met them or seen meet and greet videos then you know what sweet people they are. that shows how strong they are and how much they appreciate us by being nothing by kind and always there for us even when they were dealing with so much personal issues and pain. they literally deserve the world!! 🤍

When the initial statement came out I cried for hours. I met Corbyn, Daniel and Zach at a radio show in Detroit in 2018 and we were told that Zach and Jack were extremely sick and couldn't do the meet and greet. I wonder what was actually going on. During the meet and greet, it was rushed like every radio show meet and greet and looking back I felt that something was off. I was so excited to finally meet the boys but I truly felt like they were exhausted from the tour. We all know now how much they were overworked and the trauma they endured. I feel like I should have known what was happening. I cant wait to see what the boys come out with knowing they genuinely are happy with their music and their lives.

What Jonah said was true, the bond between them is real. And they proved that now, they've been by each others sides through it all, since the band started. Dealing with David, drama, break ups, hate, everything. This is really what I love about them, this is what's remarkable about them its that, they stuck with each other to continue the band, they dealt with this together, and none of them left the band, didn't choose to go on a hiatus or go solo to escape this management situations unlike other bands. They only had each other but that didn't matter they still went strong. The bond between them got stronger the more they went through this. It literally made me cry when Daniel was talking about him thinking of leaving the band. The fact that they were thinking of that while doing what they love, what they dreamed of doing is just heartbreaking on its own. And also Zach having to deal with this since 15 and Jack dealing with this shit as a father at 19. Zach and Jack look like they were bout to cry this entire time especially when Jack was talking about Gabbie and Lav. And they don't get paid like WTF is the reason of doing this to not even get paid. Also the fact that they have always kept a smile on their faces even when they're going through so much and are actually hurting inside. They always make us laugh and smile when even they don't do that behind the scenes. WDW have helped me and I'm sure lots of other Limelights through so much. They have actually saved my life. I'm glad that they have had more confidence to speak up about these kind of things and have matured ever since. But also thank you so much Randy for fighting with the boys and backing them up through this whole situation. I'm glad that they are now happy and free at least after they get out of this lawsuit

I remember when they "debuted" and I remember telling people how impressed I was with their voices and artistry and knowing that so much of their humanity was being stripped away in the process, that for every smile they gave me, their smile was being taken away, is crushing. I can't believe the tour I saw that I was so excited for and was one of the most enjoyable shows I went to, was one of the shows where they were overworked, starved, and exhausted. I remember when I saw an Instagram post and thought to myself "oh, they look really small, smaller than before, this doesn't look exactly healthy" but for some reason never thought as to why this could happen. As I slowly started to drift away from Why Don't We, one of the reasons I said was because "they just don't seem like themselves, they sound so filtered" and never did it cross my mind that maybe that reality was against their will. I reflect and I see that the signs were there, and I feel awful for failing to recognize them and I feel like I failed them as a fan. It was incredible to see how much each has grown, matured and how the band has stepped into themselves as musicians and as people. Abuse is so hard to rewire, especially from that young and I applaud them so much for no longer listening to those external and internal voices of "this is what you deserve" and stepping out and saying, "no I deserve more". I especially applaud when Daniel brought up the toxic masculinity that haunts many guys into internalizing their abuse and never seeking help and recognizing that they fought against that mentality to save their humanity and artistry. I wish I would've fought harder for you boys, and I am so sorry I didn't, I won't make that mistake again.

I feel so bad for all of them and how they were treated! But imagine how Zach felt being quite a lot younger than everyone else, and being put under these rules and directions. It makes me sick, and in a way reminds me of One Direction.

this is like the first time i’ve fully gotten the story and it makes me want to cry. i feel so bad and so happy because of how strong they are being. they were abused as kids and it pains me. their manager (not the good one) pisses me off. he’s abusive and a terrible person. i’m so glad that they have pushed through all of this and kept making music and staying strong.

Zach Sang is literally one of the top best interviewers I’ve ever listened and watched, and I’ve watched a ton of interviews. Artists are comfortable/relaxed with Zach, and can say anything without hinderance of rejection. I’m so proud of Why Don’t We: they braved and survived the brutal abuse, and they’ve grown stronger and gained the confidence to stand up for themselves and what they believe in. I’m so excited for them to release their new music, and praying that God will fill they’re lives with blessings and encouragement. I’m so happy that they’re still a band and showing they’re genuine selves without fear 🎶🥂

Watching this makes me sad because none of us saw what was going on. I remember meeting them and Jack saying how sick he was feeling and legit was told to get over it and to put a smile on his face. At the time we were all stupid kids him included and pushed it to the side but now that we are older I realize how awful they were treated thinking back at the times I saw them. They really were just robots getting through it the best they could 😕

I feel so bad for the boys, they were just kids, this whole entire interview really just hits hard and deep knowing because they've dealt with this basically ever since they became a band and we need to support them 100% be there for them, because it just hurts knowing that us limelights after all this time, never even knew about this, and it's now been heard and seen. I love the boys with all my heart, they are so amazing and so talented, they literally make me so happy as a limelight to smile each day and get through it, and get through the bad days, or just don't feel like doing anything, you know? Hearing all these stories and the experiences as well that the boys went through, should have been something that they never should have experienced, and they've dealt with it all this time, they as a band and as individuals in the music industry, deserve so much better, they work their absolute butts off to write, record and produce music then bring it out as well to the public and the fans for everyone to hear what they've created in the studio and when they do, we never knew what happened behind the scenes of that within the music industry, and as Jonah mentioned and Daniel, not getting paid since Covid started, like, that's just crazy and so, I don't have a word for it, it's just like, it's just crazy that they haven't gotten paid, for their jobs that they are doing as well. The boys deserve better. #FreeWDW

The crazy thing about all this is. The boys weren’t good for a whole year but they always where there for others, they told us fans to move on and they continued to build us up. I mean read this again. THEY BUILD US UP. But at the end of the day this guys where the one’s who where‘nt treated right and who suffered in silence. We can learn so much from them. Why don’t we deserves the world and they are literally angels.

it’s so upsetting to hear their story knowing that little 8 year old me loved them and idolised their lives as well as them. i thought they were living the dream and fantasised about leaving my hometown at 15 to live my dream in a whole other state. to only find out now their lives were a living hell. im sad about them breaking up but i hope they have a great rest of their careers and continue singing, even as solo artists. they’re all greatly talented and never deserved that treatment. the fact they questioned their talent hurts my soul. they don’t even know the hours i spent bawling over their songs 😭💕. i specifically remember one time my mum didn’t let me go the concert about nearly 8 years ago and i cried my heart out. their talent struck mine and every fans souls. and the fact they didn’t even know the effect of their music hurts. i love you guys! 💕 sending love from uk 🤍🤍🤍

I am one of those fans who has been there from the very beginning. I travel to a lot of their shows during the tour for invitation to her and knew that there was something very wrong. Being an older fan I am more easy to recognize things going on then the younger fans. The boys constantly getting sick and being worked as much as they were was completely wrong. There was no way the band should’ve had three shows in a row in Chicago during the invitation tour. And the amount of shows they put on in New York as well as adding a New Jersey show was just crazy. I went to Buffalo New York in summer 2018 to see why don’t me and I remember staying at their hotel. The boys came back from performing and were exhausted they went to bed for four hours and then had to get on a private jet to head to another show. The boys were so exhausted looking at Jonah alone and talking to him personally that day you could tell that everything was ageing him about five years he looked so sick it was scary to witness. I also remember going to the Detroit show Zack and Jack were so sick they had to skip all of their promo for the day and wore masks to cover their face during the meet and greet because they were so incredibly sick. That show should’ve been cancelled not continued. I hate what this man did to them and the fact that they felt like they had to keep this a secret from even the closest love ones for all these years is disgusting. I’m so glad that they’re finally speaking up and feeling comfortable enough to finally do what is right for themselves physically mentally and emotionally.

They're the picture of perseverance and inspire me even more than before, knowing I can get through anything. The fact that they showered fans with kindness even on their worst days, even when some fans threw hate at them, just shows how strong they are and how much they love us.
