I keep a fire extinguisher in my garage and any of my modified cars.

First minute sounds a lot like my $700 Z project atm. Hopefully it's a similar issue I can figure out👌

Some time in the future I would like to put coilovers on the car and keep the divorced setup.

Mine had a short at the computer is what the mechanic said but I did not not believe him

Good video. I’m working on my AC for my 87 z31. I think I have a bad vacuum canister. I never hear it come on. How can I test the canister using a multi meter etc? Thanks.

I would personally test the vacuum pump by unplugging it and giving it 12v and see if it turns on.

My 85 z31 is doing the typical maf issue wont rev past 2000 rpm but I changed MAF today and still same. Any other typical issue causes that?

First thing I would do is check the ECU for codes. Also check to make sure your TPS is calibrated property or that it works. You can check with a multimeter.

I was having the same issue along with a rough idle. I deleted the egr and now she’s running great

Fuel pump relay

never use power tools on anything gas related all it takes is 1 spark and everything on fire even brushless not even worth it

I have never had a problem with power tools as working around gas. As long and you are in a open environment and are not working directly on top of fuel you shouldn't have a problem. I personally have over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry and have never had a problem.

@@hotwillzgarage3167 You might not of had a problem but put other people have, I’m just saying it’s not even worth it like I said all it takes is one spark. I like electric better but on gas related I just use air. It’s the safer option especially when you have other people watching your videos and doing this in their own garage.
