Then why not try vibranium once? With his existing technology he could make a single suit he would need, even if it was only for a certain fight.) 2. It's so rare and expensive. (I think we've established that it's only rare because Wakanda doesn't give it to just anyone; they're basically the vibranium cartel. Also, too expensive? For the obscenely wealthy Tony Stark? REALLY?!) 3. Tony has an ego and won't poach from other heroes. (Iron Man isn't even made of steel. It's Titanium! The material has NO BEARING whatsoever on his name.)

@dragonoidsix

@@Jack-mb4jxthe point being made is that in Avengers Infinity War, Thanos uses the Infinity stones to deplete Tony’s supply of Nanites for his suit. This is so in large part to the defensive measures of the suit. Before Endgame, these defenses were physical in nature. Forming a shield made from the nanites to protect him from some attacks. This made him more vulnerable to being made combat ineffective should his suit run out of its nanite supply. Thus in Endgame, we see he upgraded to an Energy based defense. Allowing him to endure more and keep him in the fight longer. But his suit was not designed to handle the infinity stones in it. Many fans agree that if he survived Endgame, he would have built a suit that could handle such power.
@Jack-mb4jx
Ай бұрын
@dragonoidsix Well, yeah, that would be the next step for Tony as that is what he's done in every situation...he came against a problem his suite couldn't handle currently, and thus he improved it. But, that does not change that he can no longer do that as he died due to him using the Infinity Stones...and on that it's odd to me that he didn't go head and do so given he already saw what they could do to the Hulk.
@dominikjohnson5656

@MorganHarper87Ай бұрын
I'm under-qualified to make this suggestion, but what if the reasoning was because his suit is constantly 'humming' and vibrating with mechanical movement, so any vibranium would constantly be energetically occupied. This is bad because, just like Black Panther could release stored energy as a shockwave, maybe an Iron Man suit would be so charged with kinetic energy that every time a foe strikes him, they would both be blasted away from the each other. Just a thought.

In the comics, in the arms race with Wakanda (which is precisely what T'challa and to a greater degree T'chaka were trying to avoid), various attempts were made to synthesize vibranium. These included adamantium, of Wolverine fame, and the lesser-known radioactive carbonadium developed by (IIRC) the Soviets. So Tony coming up with a few mols in his basement isn't all that farfetched. The problem, I imagine, is getting enough to make a suit. And even if he could, vibranium is dangerously reactive. One good hit and he'll feel a tremble across his armor that'll rattle him to the point of incapacitation. The reason this doesn't happen to T'challa is because his suit is supposed to be a mesh weave, more analogous to very fine chainmail. Which means any scene where a Panther suit casually shrugs off bullets complete BS. Even if they don't penetrate, that energy is still transferring to the target.

The only vibranium Iron Man suit he has in the MCU is the Mark 85 because it had that Wakanda holo-shield after his shield in IW was slightly torn apart while blocking power stone. And when hit by Thor’s hammer, not a scratch. The only thing that damaged the armor was the use of all six stones. So he must have partially used vibranium and gold titanium, albeit alloys, for the Mark 85. I read it in an article. And Ultron hacked Tony’s account to buy some vibranium.

Mk50 uses vibranium nanomachines. Thanos can rip vibranium apart because of the infinity stones and because of his strength (and the gauntlet is made of stronger materials than vibranium, if you consider that the power of a star was used to forge that glove).

Narrator: Vibranium is too expensive. Meanwhile* Black Panther gift Vibranium to Tony as a Friend.😂
Pretty sure the element he invented in Iron Man 2 was Vibranium before they retconned it.

You mean, He always LEARNED from his mistakes?
I'm pretty sure he made a vibranium suit in the past in the comics.
Meanwhile, the movie directors: "H-hey, why didn't we think of that?! Write that down!"
It could also be the fact that aside from a short time in both Civil War and Endgame Tony had no long term contact with T'Challa to even discuss it.
The main reason is:- Vibranium is very weak against Electricity
but i though he could artificially make vibranium when he discovered his dad's new element
"In the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, the suit was constructed of vibranium and nanotech."
Why doesn't iron man uses vibranium? Tony: Because I'm iron man....
Iron Man didn’t fight Mandarin in the MCU. He just fought an imposter. Then again Shang Chi fought a guy who could hardly call himself the Mandarin.
First of all Vibranium is hard to acquire and second of all hard to convince somebody to give him that from Wakanda I guess not really happening since he's dead rn...
>iron man >looks inside >gold titanium alloy >y u no titanium man
And yet there was that VR Experience, Avengers: Damage Control, that featured what were basically Iron Man suits built by Shuri using the technology behind her versions of the Black Panther suits.
His suits aren’t vibranium simply because it would be too dense to fly.
Uh oh. I guess we need to start calling him nanotech man.
New anti-villian unlocked: Vibranium Man
He'd still be Ironman. He even said in one of the movies that his suit isn't even really iron, never has been.
Narrator: "It's very expensive." Thor: Do you want 100 Quadrillion?
Tony Stark can't Afford Vibranium Suit❌ *Tony Stark Rejected Virbanium✅* *And he still got better Tech compared to Wakanda with Vibranium🗿💀*
Pretty sure there's two vibranium types, with one variant essentially acting like an anti-metal
Most of his suits are made from Titanium-gold Alloy and Reinforced Carbon-carbon Titanium. The name "Iron Man" is just a nickname he got when making the full-iron Mk 1
The man's an engineer, he doesn't care about connotations of the materials he uses, he's just resourceful
Why doesn’t IRON MAN use Vibranium for his suits? "He's Dead"
(Meanwhile)Thor : “Metal man!” 😂
Nanotechnology needs vibranium to function
The budget for end game was only $356 million, so they didn't have enough to purchase enough vibranium for the show. They spent millions melting cast iron pans and food coloring just for his suit in the movie.
the truth is : if he used vibranium , he is vibro-man. if he uses iron , he is iron man
Vision’s body and his upgraded Ultron body “What does kill you…” “makes me stronger”

I suppose over the years that has been retconned out of existence
Yet he makes one in the comics AND an Uru suit or 5... He knows how to work out situations and makes then Tony'd...

Thanos can rip vibranium apart because of the infinity stones and because of his strength (and the gauntlet is made of stronger materials than vibranium, if you consider that the power of a star was used to forge that glove). Apart of Thanos (and the infinity stones), no one could ever leave a scratch on infinity and endgame Tony stark's armors. Sorry but you're completely wrong on these observations.
And then there’s what if and iron heart. Two timelines involving vibranium iron men.
Because Stark doesn't want people to call him Vibrator Man 😂
to be fair, his suit is made out of titanium that he covered in gold to deal with frosting
You forgot to add captain America as an enemy of iron man. He was in civil war
It wouldn't be "vibranium-man" dude. It would be "The Vibrator".
