We visited the SPCA. I carry my keys on a lanyard. A cat reached out and swatted at my keys. A lady said to me he picked you. We adopted him. He sleeps with me.

One of our cats is obsessed with our 16 year old daughter and when she is in school he walks around howling looking for her until she gets home in the afternoon. He loves all of us but he chose her as his number one person ❤❤

Beezley and her sister Harley are seventeen years old. No matter how many times we go through it, no matter how "prepared" we are, the grief is traumatic.

I have a Russian Blue cat that was a rescue (his owner was diagnosed with a terminal illness). His wife didn't like the cat and would shut him up in a windowless basement in a cage with a litterbox that was rarely changed. The visiting caregiver heard his cries and found him with no water or food - so she would check on him when she was there and take care of him. She asked me if I was still looking for a cat - and she told me his story. It took a while for us to build trust, and the first time he hopped onto my bed was one of the best things ever. We have come a long way (now he claims the lion's share of my bed lol). We kind of rescued each other.

My cat likes to sleep on my chest or on my arm and cuddles and puts his head on my hand. When the alarm signals are sounded at night due to shelling by Russian fascists, my cat who sleeps with me calms me down.

My all time favorite kitty would sleep on my chest and when i woke up he would be looking at me with his slow blink and gentle purr. I was his person and he was my best friend ❤️🙏🐾🐾

My late cat slept in my bed more than I did. He was a good boy. Lived to be 17 years old. Still heartbroken 😢. He went blind and we put him down. Absolutely heartbreaking. I really loved him. But he had a long happy life and was loved and spoiled. Well taken care of. Well loved.

It's really difficult to live without them. I've just had to have my beautiful cat put to sleep after having her for 15 yrs. She developed a bone tumor in her jaw and could not open her mouth to eat. There was no alternative and I could not leave her to suffer. Still missing her every day.

While I'm watching your video I have two of my cats sleeping with me now one on each side of me. They are so comforting to me, I lost my husband a few months ago so they help me cop with it.

I have two kitties. A boy and a girl. The boy will snuggle up with me and purrs just because I look at him. He will allow me to draw him in and snuggle with him. The girl sleeps at the foot of the bed but when I wake up she gives me "kisses" on my face! They both know what happens after my "alarm" goes off in the morning. I suffer from anxiety/depression and credit my cats for saving my life. I talk to them and both "talk" back

I have 2 cats that only tolerate each other, so one sleeps under the covers between my legs and the other sleeps on top of the covers between my legs, basically on top of each other. that is until I turn over in my sleep.

This is my first cat. And it's the best decision I made. I just love her so much

I have 2 cats. One is my day cat and the other my night cat. The day cat will climb up onto my lap when I'm sitting, my night cat doesn't. My night cat sleeps with me (although he comes and goes through the night). My day cat does not sleep with me.

My little tortoiseshell cat has known me since she was 9 weeks old, she's turning 10 years old in a few weeks, and it's not uncommon for her to sleep next to, or even on top of me. She fully trusts me, having known me her entire life. Recently I've been dealing with 2 injured ankles that's made it very difficult, if not impossible, to get out of bed and take care of various tasks, including feeding myself and her, but instead of doing the usual cat behavior of meowing for food, she jumps up on the bed and lays down next to me. I think she knows I'm hurt and are struggling to be able to do anything right now, so it's like she's telling me "Please get better soon, hooman...". You have to love a cat that stays by your side when things get rough.

When I had 2 cats, my favourite would sleep in the fold of my legs while the other would sleep at the front near my chest. They never changed this formation.

I’ve always had a cat my last cat died at 17 I moved to Portugal and now live in a cottage on a farm While I was waiting for the cottage I found a 3 month old cat at the cottage and every day I went to feed it when I moved to the cat just came to the door and moved in with me I had her sterilised and vaccinated and dewormed She sleeps right next to me on my shoulder every night

My 2 rescue boys were very compatible, for last 6years. Recently, they have been fighting so much that I locked them out of the bedroom. I know they both love that space and understand the hierarchy in the house. Something has changed, our house is no longer symbiotic. I love my boys, but they are challenging in a way that beyond my ability to cope.

Cat 1 always near my heart, cat 2 always between my legs

They sleep on your bed because it's the safest place in the world to them. When an animal sleeps, it is at it's most vulnerable. Sleeping next to the person who feeds it and loves it is guaranteed to keep them safe, warm and loved.

My cat sleeps in my bedroom every late morning and early evening and on my bed also.😊🐾🐱👍👍

My boy kitty sleeps near my feet and OFFLOADS an enormous amount of heat to me. I often have to get out from under the covers because I get too hot. It takes him longer to go to sleep as he likes to know I am okay before he goes to sleep.. He also has the ability to see through the blinds and detect the birds and bunnies outside in the early morning.

I don't like to sleep with my cats because I'm a big man and I tend to be a mobile sleeper. I always worry that I'll roll over in my sleep and hurt the cat. If you do put a cat bed in your room so it can sleep near you, put one of your unwashed shirts in the cat bed. It carries your smell and attracts the cat to the bed where it will get used to sleeping.

During the summer my cat sleeps at the foot of the bed but always has to have some part touching me. Either a paw or tail. During the colder months she wants my center mass for warmth. Chest with me hugging her or on my back between my shoulder blades.

Cats and dogs both know that beds are nice places.

I have 2 male cats, the oldest know when I go upstairs and most night he jumps on the bed before me! He is lining against my stomach and during the night he goes to a soft blanket what is for him there to sleep on. The second one is first going into their own "room" than around 5am he comes to bed and lies on my head! than after 1hour he most nights goes to my feet! and he comes so now and than to lick my face and goes back to my head or feet.And I love them to bits.As I am 24/7 on edge I.m bedwritten so have a bed in the livingroom. They have plenty space but they come on my bed sometimes together or separately but they both are sleeping also during the day next to me.😺😻😽😽😽

My kitty Popper jumps up the bed at exactly the time I wake up each morning to play first before dragging me to his food to keep him company. Same routine daily, demanding of my time. I feel like Popper needs my company more than I need his. Hahahah

My cat Manny sleeps on me and purrs while suckling on my earlobes. He doesn’t allow my other cats on me lol. I rescued him when he was dumped at 4-5 weeks old. So I do believe he thinks that I am his mom.

My princess sleeps next to me by my shoulder. In the morning she bonks and rubs her kitty face on me. She has special meows for massage. She also has llittle bell, for special treat. I have cameras, so I can see her while at work. And I call her on the way home. She sits by the door waiting on me. Kisess every morning and when I get home. That kissy face with eyes closed is adorable❤❤❤I tell her I love her 💕 gazzilion times a day❤❤❤

Mine does all the time. Sleeps on my chest if didn't push her down to my legs every night. Keeping bedroom door closed can get very noisy till the cat gives up. Only do it when feeling very tired and don't want to be woken up at 5 or 6 am.

My Zeus always sleeps in my armpit. If I turn on my other side, Zeus will change too.😊
