I love how the lens on the black suit still widen and shrink despite not having built-in goggles like Miles and Peter’s masks usually do. Makes it look even more like a living creature.

I love the tone shift as Miles quickly reconciles that Peter isn't being himself.

This was well known up until the mouse was running all of superhero Hollywood. That's ultimately one of the things that made Raimi Spider-Man so memorable. The soundtracks for all 3 films are just so fucking good.

I’ve long said that video game composers have the hardest job of any composer, a movie composer of a tv show composer has to make entertaining soundtracks that don’t distract and react to the tonality of the scene, But a video game composer has to make music that matches the background environment, supplements the scene and can be replayed over and over again no matter how long the player takes

It could be 100% more annoying to have a repeating, distracting song during gameplay than to get caught off guard by it once during a movie. The real kicker for video game music is the layering of the music when going from “exploration” to “high alert” and then to “full combat” and the integration of it into the gameplay but I don’t think it’s fair to call film music composition less difficult than game music composition.

The issue with Peter and Venom is that Peter never set boundaries with Venom the same way Eddie had rules. Peter didn't try to reason with Venom and only saw the symbiote as a tool, a thing instead of a person.

The costume literally manipulated Peters brain chemistry to keep him asleep as it fought using his body at night. Influenced his personality and thoughts (at least past the animated series in 1994) in hopes it would lead Peter to be dependent on itself and only itself, pushing away his family and friends. Also it never really spoke to Peter internally like it does Brock, whether it was thoughts he knew weren't coming from him or literally another voice in his head. The suit was hoping to play the long game until Peter was addicted to it.

It fits so well I thought it was part of the game. When I finally get to this game and get to this part I’m probably going to end up super confused of what’s wrong with the soundtrack.

I think Venoms design was actually really good outside of his size. The video game version of the character is much closer to what should've been done in the movie, as well as the animatronic that was made and ultimately scrapped because Sony didn't want the filming to take too long

Like I grew up with the Toby films but Andrew is still my favorite Spider-Man I used to think I hated the original trilogy but that was more due to the fact everyone hated on Andrew and his films, but when I rewatched the original trilogy for Spider-Man NWH I remembered just how good it was. Plus the music was epic, so hearing that theme in this scene you are 100% right, it fits just so god damn well! I really hope when the game comes out people do this for other scenes too.
